We have been visiting this garden centre for years back when it was a Wyevale and had an amazing Christmas experience.We had breakfast on a Sunday morning. The restaurant has been refurbished and the layout changed so two thirds is table service. This worked well. Breakfast was good with nice vegetarian options, rather than just vegan.The only disappointment was that in a lovely fresh clean restaurant the toilets don't seem to have been refurbished. Although functionally clean the walls particularly around the hand dryers were stained and looked grubby (probably from the water that comes off your hands and damages the walls). Please give the toilets a refresh!The garden centre was good as expected, the pet shop open plan design looks really nice. We bought the compost we were looking for.The staff in the restaurant and on the tills were friendly and helpful.Overall a good experience, sort out the toilets and you'll get 5 stars!

This is a great garden centre, equipped with plant sales, a good butcher and deli, a supermarket and a cafe.

Popped in for lunch remembering a distance time when it was lovely.The cafe is split in 2, one side is drinks and cake where you go up to order and the other you have to wait to be seated and have table service.This place is a mess, dirty tables, dirty floors and this was 11.45am!The staff are blood miserable!I was given a dirty mug and saucer and asked for a clean one ...Guess what they couldn't find one as they were all dirty.Come on!! Not good enough.We had a panini, and tbh it came out quickly and was fine. Expensive for what it is.Would never come back.This place needs a manager running it correctly!Come on Dobbies I'd expect a lot more than this!!

Restaurant was very dirty, tables were piled with used crockery. Not a very welcoming experience and we will not be rushing back.

Huge floor area over several halls. There is also an in house butcher, a Waitrose, and a restaurant too!

Just popped in for a coffee and ended up buying plants as usual ,because I can't resist.such an amazing display of spring colour which will keep me busy doing some hanging baskets later!!

Used to be a great place to go with lots of outlets plus good cafe with nice food .. not anymore. Had tea an a scone . Milk was off . Saucer was still dirty . Staff changed . Not enough staff to clean . Toilets dirty . Whole place looks like needs a revamp . On the plus side nice looking plants still over priced!! Have been coming to the centre for years such a shame doubt will bother again ..

A bit on the expensive side. Don't have everything priced so had to keep going to the till to ask for prices.Staff are helpful, yet, management of the place definitely needs some customer satisfaction guidance...

Used to be good, but no more.Seems they have given up on cleaning anything in the cafe.Tired, grubby cutlery and crockery, dirty tables stacked with used cups and plates, and the most miserable disinterested staff.Oh and if you were brave enough to risk eating anything the only meal on offer was ham, egg and chips.Just close the place down, it's a disgrace.

Took my son here for soft play and a drink in the cafe.I?m not sure the cafe or the soft play has ever been cleaned! Dirty cups, tissues, food etc all over the floor and sides in the soft play area. Floor and tables haven?t been wiped or cleaned within the cafe - still remnants of food from yesterday stuck to the floor by the tables. Such a shame and we probably won?t be coming back!
