Rude staff from sales assistant to management went to buy a spre phone and at 1st point was not allowed to touch the phone and 2nd asst and management where dressed like the where in pajamas

Rude staff, not welcoming at all, straight up refused to test a item even though it only wouldve taken 10 mins if that, staff have no clue about products, took a camera flash in with Nikon written on it and the guy looked at me like I brought in something alien

Took our Xbox one X in to to sell. They took it for testing and told us to come back. When we returned they told us that both controllers were faulty...the button to sync them to the console did not work. So we would have to buy another controller to sell them the Xbox. We know that the controllers were working fine as we had been playing with them up until the day we took it into sell. We also left them a decent HDMI cable to test the Xbox with which they claimed they had lost and couldn't return to us. We took the lot home and tested it and of course the controllers synced and worked perfectly. Apart from the lack of batteries that they removed and kept... probably with our HDMI cable. Terrible service. Wasted time and essentialy stolen from!

I have never met such a rude sales assistant in my entire life. Customer service is the forefront of your business and Emily desperately needs to be trained or find another job that she can do.
3 x interactions where she was dismissive, unhelpful and to the point I felt uncomfortable asking simple questions about the transaction that should of been straight forward and forthcoming, didn?t know CEX even had an app or how to work the system emails for non coded items. Jack was helpful and engaging was easily able to fill the huge gaps left by Emily so thank you Kack.
Update -
Just had my items you had graded low re graded at another CEX and they confirmed they were A grade and couldn?t even understand how you graded anything different proving even more that you are not fit for purpose or prejudice. Never will I return to this store.

Horrible place to buy phones from. My husband ordered an iphone 8 and they havent updated it or even changed the battery. It's continuously flashing the apple logo. So my husband got sold an already broken iphone. Your employers should really check the stuff they sell. Im highly disappointed and furious with this. Because now we cant get the full amount back and we DEFINITELY DONT WANT CEX STORE CREDIT!!!! Awful service and awful equipment.

My husband took a xbox one as we now have a ps5 made to feel uncomfortable as if the console was iffy & it was a inconvenience buying the item he had to go back 3 times as they hadn't had a chance to look at it

Apart from very slow service at this particular CeX store. The lady testing a fully working graphics card I had to bring back managed to fry it! Luckily it wasn?t one I wanted to sell to them as they?d have broken it while testing and most likely try to say ?it wasn?t working right anyways? Lucy!
