Absolutely terrible. Nothing worse with 2 kids.
Arrived at 1150. Was pretty empty so we were guided to a table. Waitress was disinterested in us.
Ordered and got strarters after 15m wait. Then sat for over an hour waiting for mains. In the end for up and asked and were told our waitress was dealing with a big table! We immediately got our cold food.
Didn?t have time to complain but the app was useless and even staff couldn?t apply the right discount.
Worst Pizza Express.

Good place for a quick pizza bite. I feel like there were loads of tomato sauce on the pizza, which overwhelmed the taste a bit, but it was all fresh. Unfortunately, the place gets very loud with many guests, and then with little guests, it is still a bit tricky to get staff's attention.

Pizza Making Party - We had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express Amersham for my child?s birthday party. Karl Riches single handedly hosted 18 six-year-olds, making the pizza-making activity both fun and engaging for the kids. Karl?s service and attentiveness to the parents made the event run smoothly. The kids loved every moment, and the parents appreciated the pizza making activity. Highly recommend for any group event, Karl?s professionalism truly stands out!
Parking: Sunday - free parking on the high street.

It took nearly 2 hours for a delivery of just 2 pizzas. When I called to find out what was happening the phone was put down on me and then nobody bothered answering when I tried ringing again. The food eventually turned up cold

DO NOT GET A DELIVEROO from Pizza Express Amersham. Pizza was carried in its side so all the topping was on one side of the box and the pizza dough was uncooked. Also the pizzas are not cut when delivered.

Very mixed experience tonight. In parts, the food was excellent. The dough balls and Buddha salad were great. But all three pizzas we were served were so well cooked that we struggled to cut through the base, likewise the garlic bread.
We also struggled to get served, with the staff seemingly stuck towards the front of the house and us at the back, but when they did remember we were there all the staff were friendly and professional. Not that anyone asked how the pizza was, as I might have told them...
It was summed up at the end as we walked out unacknowledged, despite four staff being nearby at the time.
It wasn't awful, but it felt like a chain restaurant experience and reminded me why small places actually owned by staff are almost always the best.

Friendly and efficient staff, nice premises. Just wish the pizze were a little bigger for the price charged but excellent execution nonetheless.
