I was looking for glasses that would help me drive at night more comfortably as well as match my complex prescription. Harrold's not only found me anti-glare lenses, they went to a lot of trouble to get the right weight of frames and the fit spot on. They seem to care a lot about making sure you are 100% happy, much more so than the larger chains. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible experience, avoid at all costs.The lady who did the eye test was fantastic but the people in the front office are a total shambles. I have experienced so many issues - wrong glasses (twice), I never get called back, late appointments, bad fitting, nonchalant attitude borderline rude with not so much as an apology for any of this.Save yourself a lot of hassle and just go somewhere else.Despite this optician handling my company eye scheme where I get free glasses the experience is so bad I have gone elsewhere and paid.

Audiology is also available at Harrold in Amersham. The advice, care and attention from Louise is exceptional. With the benefit of options of trial, there comes the joy of no hard sell. Highly recommended.

Unfriendly Front of HouseThe optician was amazing, really friendly and professional. The man in the shop part was unfriendly almost to the point of rudeness. Took my prescription to another optician and spent £500 thete. Shame because the optician was so nice!

I had a new pair of computer glasses made during the lock-down. In just one visit, all the measurements were taken and when the new glasses arrived they were perfectly adapted to me. Well done and Thank You Clive!

The initial eye test was very thorough but the subsequent service has been poor. The receptionists have been rude, made mistakes, not communicated when glasses are ready. My husband's new glasses have needed mending twice in the space of about a month. This last time, they could not be mended for a few days, we went to get them and they are still not done. How about a message to save us making the visit? I don't remember hearing one 'sorry' - poor customer service is inexcusable.

Been visiting this optician for years along with my parents and brother, and now bring both my children here too. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, and I never feel rushed into making a decision about glasses and they give me their honest opinion. They are extremely accommodating to all individual needs and 100% recommend them.
