Have been coming here for awhile with my husband, daughter and granddaughter for morning coffee and cannot fault it. The service is excellent, Ian always remembers us by name and our order too. The atmosphere is relaxed and there is plenty of room for us plus the buggy unlike some other coffee shops.

Before I begin I would first of all like to thank Ian and Abbie the owners of the Café for their kindness towards myself and the group I came in with. I came with my group of seventeen work colleagues on the thirteenth of May 2025. Upon arrival the Café we were warmly greeted by Ian and we were shown to our table reservation which was specially done for us which I and my group gratefully appreciated. The size of the café was perfect for the group I was traveling with. Some of us went up to the counter to collect cold food while some of us sat in our chairs for the hot food. I collected my food from the counter which wasn't that exciting but I didn't really mind as it had what I was looking for on that day. Overall I would recommend this place with the only thing being the menu size being a little small but it isn't too small to put people off.

This H and H is an enigma. I like it but then I don't. It's kid and pet friendly. It has a good selection of beverages and sustenance. And it's large with a rear section that is a nice spot for a small gathering without disturbing the rest. However, there are more and more home workers who are taking up residence. I'm one of them and now know how annoying we are. One drink in three hours, annoying phone habits, looking important whilst sending a PC WhatsApp message to your mom that you are so looking forward to coming home for the weekend, etc, etc. And at times it's not great to smell a pooch that took a dip in the River Chess...so, I like it but...
One real positive, IMnotsoHO the staff are efficient and friendly, unlike the Costa down the road...take note Mr Costa...

Harris + Hoole is our go-to coffee house in Amersham new town. Friendly service, great coffee selection, comfortable seating at tables or armchairs and dog-friendly too. Recommended!

come here weekly after work! staff are very friendly and always have a smile on their face! i would recommend coming here opposed to the other coffee shops on the high street ? the atmosphere is very relaxed and has a modern vibe! good place to study/work with charging ports!

First impressions the door mat as you enter is filthy covered in dust and debri, the walls need painting, the toilet bin overflowing very scruffy in the toilets , and tired looking, needs an
overhall and some TLC , but STAFF VERY NICE AND COOFEE WAS GOOD ,

A bright start to anyone?s day. The gentleman behind the bar was bursting with energy at 0730 this morning and happy to help. The toastie was lush and the coffee was perfect. Same price as the Costa and Nero Down the road. The difference is that you enjoy being in here and feel relaxed. Thank you to the bearded gent behind the counter for your awesome service and smile. ?

Harris + Hoole offers excellent coffee and delicious bakery options. The coffee is top-notch, and the bakery treats are equally delightful. We all ordered coffee twice because one cup wasn't enough; it was that exquisite.
