Poor first experience. Service was okay. Atmosphere is very bad. So many people think its a fine place to have meeting and skype calls and shout when talking. There were numerous flies in the shop and some landed on the open food items behind where the staff stand as seen in the picture. Very unhygienic and needs attention asap!!!

I am very disappointed with this particular Costa coffee branch, as at all other branches I have had no problems and am a loyal Costa customer. I recently visited the branch in Little Chalfont, where I tried to redeem my free drink. I scanned the free drink reward QR code and ordered, stating to the employee serving me that I had a free drink, and she proceeded to make my drink (which I wouldn?t have ordered if it wasn?t free) before telling me I in fact did not have a free drink because ?the system says so?. After explaining to her that I did have one and that I had applied it, she incessantly told me that I didn?t have one and needed to pay. After paying, because I now had no choice, and sitting down to have my drink, I checked my rewards history on the app, which confirmed that I had applied and used my free drink on my order. I took the proof up to the two women at the counter and was met with them insisting that the system said I didn?t have one and providing no solution. It was apparent they had no idea how to deal with the situation. I asked who I could contact about this, as I had been denied of my reward and made to pay, and they could not or would not tell me who to get in touch with. Not to mention, throughout this whole ordeal they had an extremely unprofessional, rude and ignorant attitude towards me, acting as though I was just kicking up a fuss for nothing and there was absolutely nothing they could do. After contacting Costa, I was reimbursed my free drink, and went back in the following week to claim my free drink, as I was in the village anyway. I was perfectly pleasant to them and when I ordered my free hot chocolate, the same lady who had served me the week before asked me if I would like ?free marshmallows? on top. Of course I said yes, and was about to take my drink and leave when her colleague (the same colleague who had been there the week before) stopped me and told me that I needed to pay 60p for the marshmallows. I told her that I hadn?t been told they would need to be paid for (in fact had been told the opposite) and would not have got them if I had known, to which she had no helpful response but instead stood smirking at me and telling me ?it?s only 60p? -which is beside the point. By this point I was fed up of the whole ordeal so just paid and left, however it is safe to say I will not be returning. I think this branch needs to have a serious rethink about their customer service skills as I have found the employees here to be completely rude and unable to deal with customers in a professional way.

Wish I could give no star. The Eastern European lady / manager is very rude making it uncomfortable to sit there for long. No smile on her face, no politeness, when you ask for serviette she literally gives you 1 !! Not at all friendly

Order iced drinks including vanilla latte. Order repeated several times. My order of 3 drinks was interrupted by serving another customer. No vanilla in the latte. Black americano was overfilled.

OK I've been going to this coffee shop a long time. Over a decade. Always been very friendly staff and excellent coffee (which is rarer than you might expect).So I was having a difficult day, I was out and unprepared , ordered a large latte, then my card got declined because, unbeknown to me my bank had stopped my phone contact less because of suspicious activity. Now OK, I looked like I'd just rolled out of bed, cos I had, but I'm quite recognisable and they know me cos I've been going a long time. Anyway the Polish manager (I mention her ethnicity just to identify her as she's never been forthcoming with her name) decided to speak to me like scum and humiliate me in front of several other customers. I said I would have to go and get my wallet and come back and she said brusquely "fine, go" and I went, drive home and back within ten minutes, came back in and she said "so? What you want?"I said I wanted the coffee I'd ordered which she had thrown away. I said fine charge me for both. She said she didn't need to. Then the very nice assistant remade me a lovely coffee.Have always had very nice service from this branch but I was appalled at this treatment.Had I been the manager I would have just said have it on me, or said sort it next time, but to humiliate and judge me in front of customers and still remain unapologetic when I returned was sickening and I hope she gets investigated for her customer service manner. Appalled.Costa should really take noticenof the the gamut of one star reviews on here based on customer service.Also do yourself a favour and visit the lovely Italian deli and cafe next door and get treated much better.

Coffee and staff and great - superb service. However, a persistent of vegan cakes. Even though Costa outlets generally offer great vegan cakes, this one rarely has any. Today they have 16 cakes on display and not one is vegan.Dietary restrictions: Very poor selection for vegans - a shame as Costa generally is very good.

First of the manger(I think she is) was straight up rude, second I got the hot milkshake and it was so disgusting. I only took 1 sip of it then tried to refund it.
