A lovely old style inn with a few bedrooms, bar lounge and restaurant.
The bar was well stocked with several traditional beers and ciders available including gravity fed draught bass.
The food is well presented and cooked to order. Very tasty and the dining room is very pleasant. The bedrooms are well laid out , decorated and furnished. There are all the usual tea/ coffee with nice extras, a fridge, fresh milk, fruit juice.and continental style breakfast which is complimentary . The rooms are accessed via an outside set of stone steps. There is free carparking available and the bar, dining room are accessible.
This inn is very dog friendly too.

Had the pleasure of spending some time at The Anchor Inn in Oldbury on Severn recently, and it was a truly delightful experience!
This charming countryside pub is a gem, offering not just a cozy atmosphere however also fantastic food and drink. The staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
I especially loved relaxing in their tip top beer garden ? the perfect spot to unwind.
The Anchor Inn is a must-visit ?will revisit for sure !!
Food and drinks: Great value, fantastic food presented very well

The pub is very cosy, and the staff very cheerful and welcoming.
The food is delicious and plentiful. We had the steak pie and the pancetta pasta, both of which we can highly recommend.
We?ll definitely return. A hidden gem in a beautiful area.

Just had Sunday lunch. Probably one of the best beef dinners I have ever had.
The beef was cooked to perfection, the veg and potatoes were just great. And dessert, (which I don?t normally do) was fantastic. Well done.

Stopped here for a lovely walk along the river before we had lunch at The Anchor. It?s a great pub with very tasty food served piping hot, a couple of well kept ales and really friendly service. It wasn?t our first visit and it won?t be our last! Can thoroughly recommend!??

Great location and the beer garden is lovely. I wouldn't rave about here, but it's certainly nicer than most and there's a decent selection of drinks on offer. It's been a long time since I ate here but what I had then I seen to remember as ok. Would recommend

Was looking forward to booking a family meal here but felt we were not welcome after an afternoon visit especially as we were told they had run out of a certain drink only for someone local to be served the same item- not very welcoming
Also we were told children were not allowed inside after sitting in the garden and becoming cold! After a phone call to enquire we were advised children could come in to the restaurant
For a first visit to the area, we didn?t feel welcome
