Staff close the store over an hour early and ignore customers trying to get the products they've already paid for. A young woman who handled questions far better than her 'manager' who scurried off and avoided all responsibility. The staff member who I assumed was the 'manager' or at least the person holding the store keys on 02.12.23 stated they could not keep the store open with only 2 members of staff.Don't bother using a company with such useless managers that can't even organize the minimum amount of staff necessary to run a store.

Travelled a long distance, but couldn?t get in as they changed the working hours without any notice!A funny reply from wickes customer relation for my complaints. Please read and you will see why they are so unreliable:"Good afternoon, VahidI hope this email finds you well.I'm very sorry to hear that you were not able to make your purchase while at our Bristol Ashton Gate branch.Unfortunately we're not able to offer any compensation for this situation, as this was something unforeseen and the store manager made the decision to close the store so that they can deal with the issue they were having inside.If they did this, they didn't do it without permission and at the moment they considered it to be the best option in order to resolve the situation inside the store.Thank you for your time and please don't hesitate to contact us if you need any more help.Kind regards,Wickes Customer Services"

Really great range of multipurpose compost and at a really knock down price, go get it while it lasts. But overall its a DIY store again a great range to choose from, would recommend

Terrible customer services. They NEVER answer the phone. Have been chasing up a bathroom design for months and call nearly every day. You can't leave a message. I went down there and was told I would be called back the next day but it never happened. Not sure how they do business.

One of the items I wanted was delivery only. Placed order items arrived when they said. At the moment only used gorilla glue to repair part of a door step worked really well impressed.

Turned up at 19.45pm after a fifteen minute drive and they had already closed shutters !!! and won't answer what bad service that is and a great waste of fuel and valuable time..... rubbish. Hi guy'sSince posting this review I've been and spoken to Josh the assistant manager as the manager was on holiday when this happened, they've apologized and made me a sound offer so there back up to a three.Cheers.Phil Ashby.

Purchased & paid home delivery last Thursday 6th July , delivery not delivered on Friday 7th July as promised, after several calls to Wicks on Friday , was told that the delivery will on Monday 10th. No delivery made, so after another call to Wicks, was told that the delivery will will on Tuesday. No delivery received, so popped into Wicks to collect my purchase, cancel the delivery but Wicks told me that they are unable to refund the delivery cost that I paid for.Shocking response from the aggressive managerres.Most disappointed by Wicks.delivery will be made on

My renovations were nothing short of a s**t show. They ignore complaints and have basically refused to put matters right. This company is an absolute disgrace.

Worst experience!! I had issues with installation of my bathroom, no one supported me. Countless unanswered emails although they have a workman ship guarantee to support customers if issues arise. Heard nothing after inital response. Many items arrived damaged or not at all. On Friday I cancelled work and then plans as had to wait on oven being delivered between 4-7 only to have a hob turn up. Will have to wait another 9 weeks for an oven as they only deliver in my area on certain days. I made a complaint and was eventually offered 50 quid discount, even though I lost 250 quid wages and have been without an oven for 9 weeks. Manager refused to come to phone "we dont do that here" One of the nut bolts from the shower has chipped which shouldn't happen so easily, 4 emails and 8 weeks later no one has just sent a bolt out and arranged for this to be sorted. They are an awful company and I regret the day I decided to have two installations done by them.

It's an underrated store, I have driven past it many times, and driven further to other stores as I didn't think if it.Glad I stopped as he has a good carpark, extremely good selection and best of all staff who smile and know their stuff.Well worth a visit if you need hardware

Useless. Don't bother with click and collect.Have not used wickes for several months because of low quality and terrible service, but the website says the items are in stock and can collect in 30 minutes, so gave it a go. Arrived at this store 30 minutes later, and was told the order had just come through. Probably not true, but I waited.... and waited.... and waited, until I reached my limit and went across the road to another store to pick up what I needed in 5 minutes. It will probably be another year or so before I forget and give them another try.I've watched the decline of this store over many years. Twisted and bowed wood, trollies all over the car park, Covid screens that meant you couldn't place anything by the tills and scanning was done in your arms. Just really obvious that nobody cares.

Terrible customer service, I was meant to be receiving a delivery but the lorry couldn't find the road. Ended up giving up but not before taking a picture of the wrong road. Wickes were worse than useless and didn't seem remotely interested in helping to solve the situation. It took 5 hours to finally find out there was nothing they could do. A day wasted chasing round different departments on the phone all blaming each other. I will try and never be tempted to use them again.
