Looking for a birthday card and it was hard to find a nice one. It's a shame as Smiths used to be a good shop for all sorts of cards, but now it lacks variety. Needs improvement.

Made buying online easy!... Oh not with them. Staff member seemed more interested in venting about her son or something to a co worker then helping out a customer.Went in to pick up a new issue due out today when they opened. When I noticed nothing new was out I found two members of staff chatting at the till and asked if the new issues were in. The senior pointed to the black totes and a hand scanner and said they aim to have them out by 11. As it was 9am I asked if I could grab the issue I wanted I was told no, everything needed to be scanned. ok fair, when I asked if they could grab it and scan it I was again told this time quite rudely "No, we wont do that. We'll have them out by 11". As I don't have up to 2 hours to stand around and I don't want to make another 45min round trip I just left and while on the walk back to my car I ordered what I wanted online on ForbiddenPlanet.comI was a retail drone once and I get that you've got a stock control procedure. But being rude over a simple request is just sad.I guess to anyone else who wants to make sure they get whatever magazine they want is to buy online and just come here for the post office.

I prefer Kingswood WH Smith's to the Broadmead one - it's easier to find things. Friendly, helpful staff but I agree with the review which says more staff are needed. I overheard a sales assistant saying there's no training either so suggest some gets laid on. Definitely need more staff on the Post Office counter at lunch times.

Good place, mainly because there is the post office inside, which makes it convenient.

Small WHSmith in the King's Chase shopping precinct at Kingswood. Shop here for books, cards and stationary. Also incorporating the local post office within the store. Friendly staff and centrally situated.

Small shop, carries all the usual books and stationary, does have a post office which is useful

Needs an update, a bit cramped inside making it difficult for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Also stationary prices more expensive than other stores
