The manager of Pounland East Street Bristol is refusing to allow a volunteer to rescue a pigeon who is trapped in a room above the premises. Unfortunately the manager decided to call pest control instead to have the poor animal killed. The pigeon is healthy and he or she only needs to be set free. Imiying that pigeons are pest is backward and outdated. Even the RSPB has made very clear that no birds are vermin. Please allow the bird to ne set free.

Manager rude and unhelpful with no respect for wildlife. He would rather call rentokill to destroy a bird than allow volunteers to rescue it from their shop window where it is trapped.
