“Absolutely adore this gem of a spot! Popped in December to gather some goodies for a Christmas hamper gift, and I was blown away by the selection. The place was stocked with all sorts of treats that made the perfect personalised gift. Also stock the most beautiful Christmas wreaths, at great prices.Friday has officially become my favourite day of the week because of their doughnuts. They're the perfect mix of fluffy and sweet, a must-try for anyone who's in the area on a Friday.Honey and Ginger is also my go-to for delicious, locally-sourced and healthy mid-week suppers when cooking is too much of a bother. I can't recommend both the farm shop and cafe enough. It's places like these that make you appreciate the local gems. Keep up the great work!”

“The staff were very helpful and informative in my quest to purchase foreign currency. The service I received was better than the other Bureau de Changes that I had visited in that they offered a more comprehensive service , being able to provide both prepaid cards and currency .. Both members of staff were very friendly.”

“I wonder like to say thank you to Pill Post Office staff this morning for the very polite and helpful service when my husband brought in a rather large parcel. It wasn't a straight forward transaction but it was handled with courtesy and professionalism. Thank you and we need you in Portishead!”

“This was the 5th post office I went to to try & get an international driving permit. Was a long queue on arrival but the boss got on top of it by sifting the quick jobs to make time for the longer jobs and kept everyone happy. Thank you so much!”

“Hands down friendliest post office staff ever. Gave me a card at Xmas and offer me free slushies if it’s hot. I am a high parcel volume customer and they go out of their way to make things easy for me.”

“Even though I live nearer the other post office on Gloucester road I prefer this post office. They are very polite, friendly and always happy to help. You can also get money out and bank your cheques no matter which bank you are with. Lovely people. My post office of choice”

“The best thing about this place is not the store, nor the Royal Mail but the staff that works in here. Very supportive, and willing to help. I liked this guy specifically, and the five stars is not for Royal Mail indeed.”

“A Gem in the Heart of the Community – Little Stoke Post Office ??

From the moment you step through the door at Little Stoke Post Office, you are greeted with a warmth and friendliness that is all too rare these days. This post office is far more than just a place to send parcels or buy stamps – it is a cornerstone of the local community, a place where exceptional customer service and genuine human interaction still thrive. ??

The staff here are consistently professional, courteous, and deeply knowledgeable. Whether you're there to send an international parcel, exchange currency, or simply ask a question, they go above and beyond with patience and a smile. ?? Their can-do attitude is matched only by their efficiency, making every visit smooth and stress-free – even during busier times.

One of the most commendable aspects of Little Stoke Post Office is its attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. I've witnessed the team helping elderly customers navigate services with such care and compassion – it’s clear they don’t see this as just a job, but as a vital service to their community. ???❤️

?️ The convenience store attached is another fantastic bonus – well-stocked with essentials, snacks, stationery, and greeting cards, it makes it easy to handle errands in one trip. It’s not just a post office – it’s a community hub. Whether it’s a rainy Monday or a hectic Friday afternoon, you’re always welcomed with professionalism and positivity.

The premises are always neat, well-maintained, and organized, which speaks volumes about the pride the team takes in their workplace. There’s also a strong emphasis on security and privacy, especially when dealing with financial transactions, which fosters trust and confidence in the services provided. ??

? It’s also worth noting how the post office supports local businesses and offers helpful guidance for small business owners managing shipping or postal logistics. They’re always ready with advice or a recommendation, which is a huge asset in today’s fast-paced environment.

In a world where many local services are being lost or diminished, Little Stoke Post Office stands as a shining example of everything a local branch should be: friendly, efficient, community-focused, and driven by a genuine desire to help. ??

If you're lucky enough to have Little Stoke Post Office as your local branch, count your blessings. And if you're ever passing through the area – it’s well worth a visit. ??✉️”

“Lovely little post office, staff are usually really friendly and will try to help as best they can. I once forgot to put a label on a parcel and they provided me with a label to write on which was nice. Also really easy to pop by on your way elsewhere. Sometimes there can be a queue depending on the time you visit.”

“Really brilliantly set up family run shop and post office. Will always choose to go here for all my drop offs - rarely a queue and, when there is, it's so well managed. The owners of the shop are so lovely and really patient. Such a great addition to the village.Be aware that all reviews before Dec 2020 were in the old building, so do rely on the positive reviews posted since then as they are much more reflective of the new management!”

“You won't find a place where the staff are more friendly, the counter to the post office is swift and efficient and they have a regular cashpoint in store that has free withdrawals. I can't fault the stock available for variety, on par with tesco express, and cheaper too, you can try to find a better place, but I can't! ”

3.7Good13 Reviews

“Every time I visit this Post Office, I always receive a professional, polite and prompt service from the counter staff. The PO is located inside a local convenience store, so I can do a bit of shopping at the same time. Being disabled, it is vital to have a local Post Office and access to the many vital services they provide. This is especially relevant, as so many banks are closing branches outside of town centres, and the only way to do the aspects of banking that cannot be done online, is by using the Post Office to pay in cheques and the like.I definitely recommend Fulford Road Post Office and I hope others will support this local business, it would be greatly missed if it were to close!”

“I have nothing but praise for this post office. My husband opted to renew his passport via the Digital Check & Send service. We had originally planned to do this at a location closer to us but their equipment no longer functioned properly. The Sandy Park Post Office is open later than most branches which is great, it meant we could rush over after work. We dreaded the process particularly trying to avoid the evening rush hour traffic to get there. We need not have worried. To our amazement, the whole process took less than 30 min. We were well looked after by a kind gentleman. They have a designated area, away from the counter service, where one to one service is offered. Everything was explained clearly, the passport photo taken and information submitted to the passport authorities with such ease that we can’t ever imagine reverting to the old paper application again. We will certainly be recommending their services in future. I think the people of Sandy Park are lucky to have such a lovely local post office.”

“What can I say, been coming here since 2006 and the service is out this world. There is nothing they don’t have and will always go above and beyond for their customers. It’s open until 10pm as its also a shop, but post office is closed from 5pm.”

“Lovely family who run this place. Especially like the older guy who wears a hat behind the post office counter. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The fact that it's open on Sundays and till late in the evening is an even extra bonus. Would highly recommend.”

“The Whiteladies Rd Post Office is fantastic. They have great staff who are always so helpful. You can get foreign exchange here too. It’s inside a local Tesco who unfortunately don’t keep it well staffed.”

“Staff there were really friendly and fun to speak to. Didn't actually realised this place existed until I received a little card from a missed delivery! The location is somewhat inconspicuous, so if it looks like you are in the wrong place, just keep going!”
