She talked me through every procedure, explaining what was happening and why. She took her time helping me choose a frame, encouraging me to try on as many as I liked so as to make the right decision. “As a housebound, disabled, long term very sick person, I need to rely on certain services, one being a good pharmacy that can work with me and the challenges my health issues can cause at times. I have to have my prescription delivered monthly and sometimes I have very limited or NO mobility, so when they come I can't always get up to the door, so they have a wasted journey and I need to rearrange. Not by choice, but because I'm physically in so much pain and unable to move hardly at all.Several pharmacies I've had, have ended up causing me so much stress and upset because they've had zero understanding, compassion or awareness for patients and their conditions. I've been let down, verbally abused, treated so appallingly by some (naming no names --->>> 'Lly... and B....') that I couldn't take anymore. It's hard enough trying to just get through each and every day when you're so ill, in extreme pain 24/ and very sick ALL the time.Eventually after being abused for the last time I HAD to find a new pharmacy. As I'd done this a few times previously with little to no success, I didn't hold out much hope (not all were abusive just 'Lly...') but the others either just let me down, were really late with medications which meant I ran out completely, which is very dangerous for some of the ones I take, you can't just stop taking them. I explained all this many times but they just didn't care. So by this point, after a few years of being treated so poorly I tried to find a new place. I found Westbourne Pharmacy, I thought here we go they'll probably end up being just like the rest.Well, what a wonderful, pleasant, surprise. NO they were NOTHING like the rest. Since the very first day I decided to use them? I've been treated so well, with such huge compassion, kindness, understanding and support. They are SO respectful when they talk to you, they are never cruel, nasty or unkind, ALWAYS patient and supportive. I'm so grateful for this wonderful place. As I said life is hard enough when you're severely ill every minute of the day, so to find a place like this that has the most amazing, kind, patient, understanding, lovely people, is like winning the lottery.Every single person I've dealt with from here, from staff on the phone, the drivers, all of them, ABSOLUTELY amazing. They are always understanding, they know that we're ill and that affects our normal responses and our life. They understand when your call back to them takes a few days longer than it should. They understand that despite the driver attempting to deliver 2 or 3 times unsuccessfully they don't get annoyed about it, they know that it's not done to inconvenience them (even though it does) they know it's because we're ill and how that affects us can be different each and every day. Some days are better than others, some are like hell on earth.Westbourne pharmacy are some of the kindest most compassionate people I have ever dealt with. I thank every day that I found them, they have bought a degree of peace and calm to my life, they have taken away the monthly anxiety of having to deal with the whole ordering and delivery of my monthly prescription. I used to get sick to my stomach over it as I knew the whole process would be an absolute nightmare. Not anymore, thanks to these guys they have taken a huge weight off my shoulders and given me peace of mind. I can't say enough good things about them, I really can't, they have been incredible, they go ABOVE AND BEYOND for their patients EVERY TIME.Thank you Westbourne pharmacy for giving me some peace of mind back, some self respect and for showing me so much compassion, kindness, support and understanding. “Extremely helpful knowledgeable staff- we have been using this Pharmacy for years..much better prices than one would expect from an 'independent' There are often have 'specials' on offer, branded toiletries for low prices.For people on regular medication, the repeat prescription service is very useful.For general health enquiries ''What is best medicine for travel-sickness/migraine/ indigestion/ '' &C, they can sometimes sell you a generic brand at a better price than one with fancy packaging- the active ingredient is the same.If you need a specific toiletry item , they can also order it in for you.Recommended.Edit:Has been under new ownership since 2021 but just asgood..Very hard working staff.”

“Went here Saturday morning to just enquire about ear drops for a blocked/muffled ear. Realised they do ear suction so I enquired to a really freindly guy who offered to take a look there and then. On inspection he showed me evidence I needed ear suction done. I thought I would need to book an appointment NO he did this immediately and was very thorough in what he did. He also made it completely clear that if I needed to pop back within 7 days it would be completely free of charge. I’m really sorry I never asked this guy his name BUT want to put on record how superb you were. I will always now use this store. Many thanks Chris”

“Wanted to share the great customer service we had in store yesterday (14/12/24). A lovely assistant took our enquiry about ear piercing and arranged an appointment for my daughter to get her ears pierced for the first time that same day. Nazia pierced her ears, she took her time to explain everything to my daughter and make sure she was happy with the placement. She was so kind and reassuring. There wasn’t too much choice of earrings but these are only temporary and I had to buy the solution which was expensive but part of the Ts and Cs. After being let down today by another jeweller my daughter is thrilled. Thanks again.”
