Room had an overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke which transferred to the clothes in my suitcase. I don't smoke and found it overwhelming.

value for money in a very tight economy and in the city. Perfectly furnished, larger then normal rooms with actual windows!!Easy to find and in a quiet environment. Perfect for both leisure and business trip stopovers. Definitely will be regulars as we travel every month to

Rooms are good however as a business user I wish i had stayed at the spa.Mainly because breakfast at the lodge is just a choice of 1 roll so ended up with a bacon and sausage roll for breakfast and a coissant whilst my collegues at the spa got a full english and lots of choice.Sad to say you get a better breakfast at a travel lodge than you do at the lidge!Rooms: Room was excellentNearby activities: Nothing much to do there its on a business park

A smart, modern hotel. Lovely comfortable room. Excellent but quiet location near the M5 / M4. All services provided by the friendly pub next door.Rooms: Modern, comfortable room. Excellent bathroom.

I like this hotel use it regularly for work in the south west. Prices are competitive with good local connections. Rooms are nice and quiet.Rooms: Clean and comfy without being over the top.Food & drinks: Variety across both sites at Black Sheep and Aztec. Service charges seem to apply more recently.

The hotel itself is really lovely, the rooms are clean and quiet and we really enjoyed our time there. The thing that let's it down is the pub attached, it is very expensive and small portions, and the breakfast in the morning does not include a cooked breakfast, just a small bacon bap and some croissants and cereal (with only soy milk as they had run out of cows milk)The lack of value for money from the oub let it down and you are quite a walk from the nearest shop to get something else to eat.Food & drinks: It was very expensive to eat and drink here, not good value for money.

Service has steadily gone down. Been a regular for 8 years. Last visit, ordered a pint, which you then have to go at the other end of the bar for. The bar person, then choose to go into the kitchen for 10 minutes, when they came out. Politely reminded them of my pint, luckily took a receipt. If you can go somewhere else. It's strange as the hotel owns the pub and their staff are always as you would expect. This place could be a gem. General impression is that the 2 female workers wanted to be anywhere else, is this the demonstration of 'lazy working'.

Arrived at the hotel and had to check in at the Aztec Hotel across the road. The man on reception was extremely rude and very unprofessional. My parents were staying at the Aztec hotel and booked this as a surprise for me and my partner as they were impressed with the Aztec. They were told it was part of the hotel and the rooms were the same standard. They were not. My parents room had robes ,white company toiletries and water. Our room had none of this.We arrived at 11:00pm to be told our room hadn?t been paid for. After my parent had to come down and clear up the payment issue we were handed a key card and told the room number. We didn?t get told about what time checkout was or where to go.The room wasn?t the cleanest. It hot and we opened the windows. The fan in the room was turned on and blew dust across the room. My partner spent most of the evening sneezing after this. There was a party on at what I imagine to be a reception room in the Aztec. This loud music went on until 12pm keeping us up.For £120 for a night I feel is extortionate. We stayed in the Premier Inn in Alveston which was better. The staff are far friendlier and helpful. So would we stay again , certainly not. I?d stay in the Premier Inn which isn?t far away and have a better experience.

Really lovely and very well priced.Very large power shower, comfy king size bed in a really nicely decorated room-would definitely recommend.Had issues with the cleaners barging in twice in the early hours without knocking but made a complaint at reception and hopefully this won't happen again.Rooms: Really lovely room, with large shower-plenty of room for 2 and very powerful. Really comfy king size bed in a really nicely decorated room-would definitely recommend.
