My appointment for a full service and MOT was cancelled for the first time due to a lack of technicians at the auto center I had booked. A call came in offering me the chance to schedule another day at a separate auto center, and I said yes. My trip to the auto center today was met with disappointment as I was informed that my appointment had been cancelled once again because they do not provide an MOT service on the weekends. I offered to get only the full service, but there was no lock due to cancelling my appointments brilliantly; I'm not sure what is going on with them, but I do not use any services of Halfords Auto Centers for sure.

Found a washer on a wheel stud on each of the wheels whose tyres they replaced. Blatantly trying to increase wear and get me to buy new tyres sooner. Tyres also improperly balanced.

Booked my car for MOT , 1 day before the MOT was planned , Halfords contacted me to tell me the MOT has been cancelled due to the fact a Mechanic was off sick, 5 days before Xmas I was unable to find anyone else to carry out the MOT PATHETIC!!!

Took my car here this morning after having another garage cancel on me. Ian took a look at my car for me all in all Ian?s a top guy who?s put my mind at ease looking over my car for me. Not having a clue about cars myself I felt this place is trustworthy and not a rip off garage like some I will be bringing my business here from now on thanks to Ian

Had a recent disappointing experience when booking an MOT.I booked my car in for an MOT with plenty of time before the due date. I then received an email one week ahead of the appointment telling me it had been cancelled with no explanation provided. Upon calling the national Autocentre support line (no answer from Bedminster repeatedly), I was told there were no appointments until a week after the MOT is due.I've now taken my business elsewhere in the area, with an independent garage that can see me within a week.

The worst garage you can ever set your foot on in this earth DO NOT GO THERE if I could give zero star I would. I took my car for service today at 8:30 in the morning I called at 3 they said the car was ready for pick up, when I got there they said I had change a exhaust and etc I said cool clam. When I went to start the car it was sounding like old 1980s car that?s suppose to be a write off. I went back told them and they tried to manipulate me saying the car was like that in the morning I had to call the police for them to go fix whatever they had doneIan the mechanic who did my car was rude and very unprofessional he was like we have cctv here are you calling me a fraud. Word for word these where his words? go on darling call the police? and he literally said he would leave my car outside because I refused to take it with me sounding the way it was sounding. Mind you this is a car that recently passed not form Halfords in Newport 3 weeks ago. Manager Shane said give me 30 mins and boom my car was sounding the way it usally sounds. Ian then came back with a half a*s cooked apology trying to manipulate me like excuse me. For your peace of mind and sanity avoid this Halfords at any cost even if they are your last option dnt go

Super helpful and no unnecessary charges, got seen for my MOT within 24, as I had forgotten. No fuss lost of time slots and lots of options to go to get the test completed.

Would not recommend! Cancelled last minute on a re- gas. Looking at the other reviews, clearly has happened to a lot of other people aswell. Instead of just responding with a customer service response Halfords to these reviews- sort your branch out and update the website and stop taking money from people. Ridiculous.

Came in for MOT at 11am, tester was in but 'unable' to do any MOT's to any vehicles on the day. Did not even receive a call to inform me. AVOID

Been here twice via booking and both times they didn?t actually have the means to do the work. Sort your website out and stop giving misinformation with booking options.Useless.They absolutely cannot do any work on long wheel base high tops, so save yourself some time and call Venture.
