“Lovely shop, and unlike other nearby Barnardo shops, is open on Sundays and has a really decent sized selection of clothes. It's run very professionally, always has good displays and the staff go to some lengths to theme the shop during the year's festivities (Halloween, Christmas etc). It always feels clean and well laid out (no fusty tatt!). Prices are reasonable mostly, sometimes a bit steep but hey, it's for charity! They aren't as cheap as the filton shop prices, but the quality of clothing is a better grade generally speaking.”

“I've edited this review (delete last one) as it was not this shop I was complaining about. Sue Ryder is a good charity shop with good prices and friendly staff. It's managed to keep its prices down for goods as other charity shops take advantage.”
“Friendly staff and you can even have some banter with them too (if there not to busy coffee taste good to I would recommend you pop in and try for yourself it's not like the normal coffee shop where you take your coffee sit down and then forgot about go on give it a try and blame me if you did not enjoy it. Thanks for reading (if you did)”

“This place is astounding. For many years I struggled with alcoholism. When the 5 bed detox part was still running: I even had an inpatient Detox here...around 10 years ago. All my meals & boarding were paid for...which is pretty incredible.
So that's Why I want to put in a Huge ????? to all the amasing staff here- the kitchen were very kind to us and so was reception. I'm now Sober. I'm in recovery & this place was incredible when I couldn't stop drinking. It's trully an amasing sanctuary & for those on drugs
The van for safe using
Used to visit.
Thank you all staff.”

“Visited this charity shop for the first time on 28/06. The lady working there was so helpful and friendly; she checked out the back for more cuddly toys and books for me. Super cheap too, books £1.50 for 3 or 75p each and soft toys only 50p, this is much cheaper than most charity shops. I found lots of childrens books by quality authors. I will be visiting again.”

“The staff here are nice and friendly and the clothes are quite spread out so its easier to move around than some of the other charity shops in the area. It does have a changing room in the middle of the store which has a curtain rail, I'm always convinced people can see me changing, if I can see out, surely other people can see in! Luckily I'm not an overly modest person ;-) Unlike some of the other charity shops it tends to have a fairly standard range of high street clothes. It does stock a good bit of primark clothes, I don't really like paying almost the same price for a 2nd hand item that I would if I bought it new in Primark. Then again, that's probably saying a bit more about how Primark are able to sell their stuff so riduculously cheaply. I have found a few bits and pieces here, trousers and books at very reasonable prices. There was a lovely black dress from River Island in there last week selling for under a fiver, when you consider how much you pay for high street prices, you can find some cheap gems here.”
“The best Charity Shop in Henleaze with really helpful and friendly staff, and always good quality items on offer. Prices are really good compared to other Charity Shops on this road. A special mention to the Manager as she will always go above and beyond to assist her Customers.”
