I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich and a bottle of water, and I ended up eating a piece of plastic that they had left inside, melted with the egg. They apologized, but they only refunded the sandwich. They didn't offer anything complementary, or even the bottle of water for free, after I ate plastic.

Best coffee shop in town for lunch. Quite down to earth, not pretentious, can usually get a table. Staff are friendly. Good all day breakfast, though I probably wouldn't bother with the chips if I was making one myself and they don't do black pudding, but I guess a lot of other places don't anymore either. Remember to ask...

I come in to Boswells a lot as their food has always been very good. But lately the quality of the food for the price has dropped significantly. £6 for a toasted cheese panini and this is what I recieve. Barely any cheese in them anymore to the point where I paid £6 for a bit of bread. The rest of my meal was very nice...
