The taste of both the pizzas we had were both excellent, the dining experience was definitely not for me. We booked for 2 at 5pm on a Saturday. When we got there we were seated at the actual counter that the guys making the food were working behind - no mention of that made when we booked or I would've cancelled. When I go to a restaurant I want good food and to relax and forget the hustle and bustle of day to day life, not to feel like I'm in the middle of a working kitchen. I appreciate that's my taste, some might find being right in the middle of everything happening as quite exciting - its not for me. I was sat about 10 feet away from the opening of a log fired burner, consequently I was hot as hell all through the meal - not for me. My view for the meal was a bloody yellow chopping board where the fresh meat was being chopped - not for me, I'm glad I didn't have vegan mates with me. The choice of beers is poor. I appreciate this an "Italian restaurant" - but its not really, its a Bristolian restaurant serving Italian food. You're in one of the best cities in the country for great beers - would it kill them to have something local available? If you don't like Italian lager (Peroni or Moretti), I don't, then you're out of luck. The pizzas are made with excellent quality ingredients. The dough is perfectly fine, its bubbled and charred as it should be but tastewise its unremarkable compared to the last pizza I had out at Pizza Pilgrims in London where the dough had a fantastic taste itself. The fried Zucchini chips were lovely, the staff were friendly. I enjoyed my meal which is the main thing, but I won't be going back.

Genuine 5* experience. Staff second to none, Lisa (I think) was class. Pizza, Mussels, Arancini and Lasagne all top notch. Would be going here regularly if I lived in

Wasn't blown away, have had better food here previously. Found my calamari to be a bit chewy and not crisped up that much, and my pizza base was so thin it was barely there. The sausage on my pizza wasn't as expected, very pink and processed looking, but not claiming to be a sausage expert. Arancini was excellent though, highly recommend.

We are regular customers, we used to come every weekend with our kids. This time we were not very well welcomed and placed on the counter with a freezing air coming from the kitchen, which was not very comfortable . Having seen two tables available (10-15 min) we asked to be moved to one of these but were told No. I am so sad about this strict No and that we had an awful experience!

Came here for a complimentary meal following a larger gathering at the cheltenham Bosco, and was blown away by the difference in food, hospitality and general atmosphere of the place.Luke our server oversaw every aspect of our experience and couldn't have been better. Finally understood the raving reviews about the pizza, flavoursome dough and tasty toppings. Highly recommend. Went on a Friday night too

One of the best restaurants in Bristol! The food is unreal - fresh, full of flavour and using high quality ingredients - which you can see for yourself as it?s prepared in their beautiful open kitchen. The food at Bosco is on the same level (if not better) than some of the top Italian restaurants in the city but at a far more reasonable price. The atmosphere is lovely, decor sophisticated, service was fantastic and much quicker than we expected considering that the restaurant was full (on a Monday night, which speaks for itself.) We?re converted and we?ll definitely be back. Thank you ?
