They welcome dogs really warmly by having a dog bowl and giving them a treat. We had a smoothie, caramel shortbread ( which was very good ) and a coffee.

The moment you walk in there and see how busy it is tells you it must be good...1st time there and I will be back, service was good considering how busy it was but most importantly was the Latte was really good so was the cinnamon bun ?...thank you guys....

I really like this coffee shop but the toilets are not clean...there was congealed urine under the toilet seat and if you have to sit down to use the facilities, the filth and grime on the tiles is shocking. I think whoever cleans it doesn't look at it from the perspective that someone sitting down would see it from. It has been like this the last couple of times I have been so it is an ongoing issue. Hope they sort it as everything else is great and it has the nicest coffee in Woodley

I ordered two coffes and asked for sugar free and was given sugar. Asked again the staff just dumbly nodded their head. Seriously they dont keep sugar free and you have to ask rather then help yourself. Next time its costa thats right next door.
Please train your staff dont care how you g they are and unhappy at work, get new staff or train them, the one thing i dislike is dealing witb grumpy unhelpful staff.

This lovely café is my regular go-to. I have the App and I am a student. Today, the young lady who served me did not make sure it worked so I did not get my 10% off. Someone said they would check but forgot about it and when I challenged the girl on my way out, she could not care less! I was so disappointed. Hopefully I can sort this out the next time I visit ;-)

First off, the positives.
Friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. Great coffee. Clean, tidy premises. All food items are well-presented. Everywhere is a good place to sit. There is plenty of space. I love the fact dogs are allowed to come in and make themselves at home. The toilet facilities are spacious, well-appointed, and clean. There is a noticeboard towards the back of the shop for local events, which is a nice touch.
The negative.
The cake is terrible, and for the price (nearly £4) it should be better. I don't know whether they freeze it and let it defrost, but it had an unpleasant taste. Almost an 'off' taste. The topping (on both slices) however, tasted good. They were left almost completely uneaten. It's a shame because they looked delicious. That's not the first time this has happened, either.
I will return to Coffee#1 in Woodley because the place had a good vibe, and the coffee was excellent. However, I shall stick to other food items on the menu.

Lovely staff and great choice of snacks/ cakes and coffees including vegan ones. Just wish someone would deep clean the toilets as they are pretty dire. Otherwise can?t fault the place for atmosphere and hard working staff.
