I went into the store a few weeks back as I needed three new keys for my new property. The youngster behind the counter, Shortish with long hair checked the system and said they had no stock but will get the blanks within two to three days. Yesterday, 11 September, I went passed again as I was in the area. Another gentleman, Larry I recall his name, was in the store. He was polite and friendly. He asked me for my stub ticket which I didn't have as the original culprit hadn't bothered to explain the situation to me regarding paying up front and then coming back a few days later to have the keys cut. SO a fat rasberry to the first guy. He was a waste of my time. I have now paid for my keys and will be back next week to have them collected. Time wasted unfortunately. Kudos to Larry though. Please ensure that your staff are competent and don't waste my time. The first guy is not an asset to your company,

Arrived just before 9 no one arrived, by 9:30 still no one and not open nothing on the door other than open @9 everyday sign. What a waste won?t be using

Larry Lazza Beautiful man he sorted out my problem straight away. I went to smelly Alley in Reading Timpson?s to get my key batteries changed the guy there put them in the wrong way to start with then the sensor wouldn?t work that picked it up Larry sorted everything and also did my other key for no extra charge because I bought the lifetime guarantee what a lovely man we should all aspire to be like him doing his work with loving his heart, gratitude, and kindness. Big thanks to Larry at Timpson for coming to the rescue! After a rather eventful weekend that involved a traumatic escape, I managed to regain control of the situation. I went in to get my my shoes repaired in the winnersh branch and ended up getting 3 keys cut and buying a key ring aswell the manager Lenny was a fantastic help il certainly be going back for my other shoe replairs and all my key cutting recuirements when needed, Lenny is a credit to the company

Needed my suit dry cleaned as quickly as possible as sick and Kebab isn?t a good mix. Was given a timeframe by Larry and kept informed when my suit was ready for pick up.Will be returning again.

Popped in here after breaking the screen on my phone after dropping a tray of turkey dinosaurs on it. Larry was very helpful and friendly and my phone looks as good as new now. Great service.

Do not replace standard car batteries here. My wife was charged £18.95 to replace a standard Nissan Qashqai car key battery, which is just a CR2023 battery. When my wife complained they gave the explanation that it had a 2 year guarantee. We have used Duracell CR2023 batteries on JLR and Nissan keys which have lasted longer then 2 years. We are left feeling ripped off and therefore would not use Timpson services in future.

I ordered 2 security keys at £50 was told 2-5 days never arrived in time I had to keep calling and chasing it up .. not on .. to be told there is a problem. With the delivery company the Keys working perfectly just not great communication skills ?

Disappointed as reviews previously were good. Guy was not informative. Wanted a watch battery. £14.99 plus 1 yr guarantee or £24.99 lifetime guarantee. RIP off. £10 in Woodley Goldsmiths and 1yr free guarantee. Also had coded key cut. He took details and money. Then he says will take 5 working days! Went back to pick it up - key doesn't fit!! Even though it's coded. Paid £28. Ordered new key online via Yale locks- £17.99 & free delivery and delivered in 5 days. Don't bother with this place.
