Usually I have really positive feedback for local supermarkets like Sainsburys Local however tonight isn't the case. It seems they shut the store 10mins before actually closing time and wouldn't let any customers in!! I finished work late today and needed to pop in to grab some pasta fpr dinner and drinks for work however I was told I wasn't allowed in because the store was closed!!
On the website it says the store closes at 10pm on Sundays, I tried to enter at 9:50pm - I could have been more organised yes but work hasn't allowed that to happen this week.
Funnily enough I wasn't the only person to be turned away, another lady turned up a couple of moments after me and was told the same thing.
I have worked in retail on the passed and its not okay for a store to lock the doors 10mins before they actually close, the staff were standing around not doing anything so I could have been served.
Thankfully Tesco was open so they got my custom instead!!

A well stocked local shop with friendly staff who do not hesitate to help if needed. Long opening hours very helpful to the community, But it?s like GTA 3 stars when you go in there.
