I found on the internet that a product I wanted was available at the local Dyas store. I visited the shop and luckily the lady at the till wasn't occupied. She confirmed that the product was in store and showed me where it was. I told her that I had given my Dyas card to my wife who had mislaid it. Using my personal information she was able to verify that I had a card and was able to produce a new one for me. I bought the product and was able to partly pay for it using the accumulated points on my card. It was a very satisfactory experience.

I was on a tight time frame. I needed some round head screws so that I could mount computer equipment to a cabinet for a client. I had headphones on and whilst selecting the appropriate hardware a female member of staff abruptly approached me and pointedly ask "Can I help you" I took my earphones of and asked what did you say as I was unsure, she repeated "Can I help you". I replied "No, I know what I'm looking for thanks". Then a second female member of staff walked along the neighbouring isle. I assume they were management and took me for a thief.
I paided for the overpriced screws and will go to screw fix next time.
