I had the worst experience in this store. The lady was so rude refused to scan my voucher, on my pets at home app as if it would be coming out of her bank account. On top of that was utterly rude. I shop at pets at home nearly everything month but I?m now going to find an alternative because it?s just so expensive and on top of that what?s the point of being a club member if you can?t use your vouchers. Dissatisfied and disappointed wouldn?t go again and wouldn?t recommend it I don?t even know if she was just racist

Great vets practice been with them for 4 years and they look after both our dogs so well. Staff are fantastic.

In June, massive electrics issue had caused a shutdown and few days later they had had to take all their fish to another shop, and shop manager said they'd likely not have more fish as shop is due to refurbishment in few months.
So after few days with no circulation, and they still had cold tanks stocked as normal. Apparently they had evacuated tripical fish due to temperature drop, as if the temperature was their most pressing concern.
However Iits obvious that after two days with no water flow, they had already crashed their filter cycling and that the left over fish are getting slowly poisoned in their own poo. In tropical tanks a handful of fish had escaped the capture, so out of kindness to these few creatures I offered to buy about half of them, as I had space in my many tanks. I asked to make a bulk deal, but it was refused. Not a penny- even if you take all of them ! Pound for pound, list price, even if that ment most left would perish there shortly after. Fine, not my doing. So I chose about 12 I could easily add to my existing schools. Catching the few remainers, a single small fry (likely guppy baby) appeared from hiding, so I told the lady to bag that too, as it could join my fry pack and live. She said she'd need to ask the manager for permission, and after lengthy wait she returned and said she now had permission to SELL the lone fry to me. I said thats bloody petty, Im here helping you and the fish out, not to be taken piss. Theyll all die here, we both know it. She repeated they will not give it, only sell.
I wished them luck with that fry to survive alone in abandoned tanks with crashed nitrate cycle.
Fish or not in future, it won't be my shop from now on. Absolute cruelty, and terrible lack on basic understanding of fish and aquarium needs. What a petty cruel bunch of horrible individuals that are in charge of that store.

Awful experience today in the Winnersh store. Brought my dog in for a grooming, the person working was new. I informed her that my dog can be snappy with new people. The first thing she said was; ?First of all the lady you saw last time doesn?t work here any more, and secondly she never writes notes about behaviour, so I wouldn?t know anyway?. I thought that was a weird and rather passive aggressive thing to say. But I let it go as I assumed there must have been an issue between them. (My dog loved the previous woman and actually used to nuzzle into her neck after the groom, which explains why she never mentioned anything in the notes). As usual, I decided to walk around and pick up some bits for my two dogs, I was with my niece and nephew and we wanted to buy some stuff for them to take back to Canada for their dog. All was well and we could see my dog being groomed as we perused the shelves. We paid up for the goods (almost £60 on top of a £40 groom), with the lovely man who I see each time on the till. After paying, we decided to hang around as there was only 20 mins left. We were approached by a staff member whilst in one of the aisles who asked us if ?everything is ok?. I wasn?t sure if he thought we were suspicious since we had a shopping bag, so we moved to stand round the corner from the groom room. One, so we were away from the aisles, and two because we were out of sight of the window to the groom room, which is in full view of everyone. Another member of staff came out around the corner and asked us what we were doing here. I asked her what the issue was, and why staff members kept asking why we were there. She told me our presence was stressing out my dog as he could see us through the window. As we were round the corner and completely out of sight, this was an odd statement. I could see that my dog was finished (I had to look through the window to know this). I went in and asked if there was an issue, as I could see there was a second team member standing next to the groomer. I asked why the team members were behaving in such a rude way towards us. The second person (which until now had been nowhere in sight), said that we should have left the shop entirely during the grooming. I asked where we should go since there is nowhere near the store to spend time, she told me to go to the hotel around the corner on the roundabout. I told her that the entire time we had been in the shop looking and then purchasing products. She told us we should have waited until after my dog was finished. I was completely shocked that not one person thought to ask politely that we wait outside, instead we were approached in such a rude manner. Completely unprofessional and a disgusting way to behave towards customers. I was then asked for my VIP card!! What a joke! I told her I wouldn?t need it as I will not be retuning to any of your stores for anything. I?ve never met a dog groomer that has had issue with my being around while they groom, let alone when it is part of a store with so many products available. Surely it makes sense to use the hour waiting time to buy the items I need for both of my dogs, rather than taking my nervous dog who has just been groomed and feeling uneasy around the store. I?m utterly disgusted by the rude, unprofessional and clearly unskilled team at the store. The only reason I started coming is because our local groomer is currently ill. I decided to continue using this store because the lady that used to work here was so lovely with my nervous dog. If I hadn?t been so angry I would have requested a refund of the goods I had purchased, I was just so shocked by the way this team behaved. To see them all huddled together chatting and for one of them to storm out and behave like a school teacher towards unruly children, was bizarre.

I'd just like to say a massive thank you from me and Roo. Such friendly and caring people, the vet was very thorough with his examination of Roo. Cost was very fair and alot cheaper and better service all round than the 1 at woodley precinct. So again thank you so much for such amazing service. Kind regards Mandy.
