Excellent service and great staff. I popped in to get new bulbs in my headlight & reversing light.They were busy but squeezed me in anyway and it was all done in half hour. Super friendly staff as well.

Booked car into get handbrake realse cable replaced, told the lady when booking exactly what the issue was and told Yes we can do it, . To only receive a phone call 30 mins after dropping off the car, they are unble to do the work.... Very disappointed as I was very specific when booking the appointment. Bearing in mind this was a Saturday, and my MOT was booked in for Monday morning else where

Had an issue with my car after a faulty battery was installed.New manager Paul listened to my problem and went to great lengths to ensure my issue was resolved. He was polite knowledgeable and kept me up to speed with the repair process.I can't speak highly enough of him.Many thanks Paul and the Halfords team. You will see me again with future business.Need to update my review as although my car was kindly repaired after being fitted with a leaking battery, the replacement battery also failed. A 3rd battery was grudgingly fitted with my car being left with Halfords Wokingham for 2 weeks. I was informed that although these batteries have a five year warranty, there would be no warranty cover on the latest battery. That now has failed. I now feel unable to believe that the latest battery was a new battery.The upshot is I will never use Halfords again.

I think this is a well managed garage. When your car is costing you more than you believe reasonable at your Ford/Toyota/Other garage then give them a try. If you just need an MoT then perhaps consider here for an alternative.April 2023 update - The staff may change over time but still offering the same good service.

Had a mixed experience here.I?ve booked in for one of the free tyre checks which went well and I was able to book at short notice.Turned out I needed four new tires (treads were between 2 to 3,MM) and so I asked for a mid range one. The chap recommended some Firestone ones with C and A efficiency for wear and weather. So far so good.I would have liked to have been shown the options (and with hindsight I will now always shop online to get the choice) rather than just suggested a tyre but I went with it.Came back the next day as they had a slot they could fit the tyres and they did without an issue. Went to pay and was told £440 for some midrange tyres which caught me off guard as when I?d looked online they worked out at £91 each? I paid and then spoke to their customer service who refunded me but felt like I was robbed.Note to customers - order online as you?ll get a lot cheaper prices. Giving 4 stars as they refunded straight away and the staff in the shop were helpful. Just left slightly disappointed I had to pay £20 extra per tyre initially.

Needed some wiper blades for my car. Ordered online, selected Wokingham Halfords as they could fit them on Saturday, turned up at booked time and job was completed in 5 minutes. No fuss. Really easy.

I booked an appointment with Halfords in Wokingham for the rear brake pads replacement. I turned up today (5-11-2022) at 08:30 hours and I was told it would be ready after lunchtime and that they would call me. I went back just before 2pm and was told the car was ready and when I asked what time it was done I was told first thing in the morning. When asked why weren?t I contacted the lady told me she called me but it was out of service. When I challenged her she said she thought there was something wrong with their phone line and to me that meant she didn?t bother to call me. That is really poor costumer service. This was not a free of charge service, and staff at Halfords have got a job because of costumers. I would never use Halfords again.Service: Brake service & repair

Went in for a MOT booked for 3:10pm. Email said to turn up 10 mins before the booking. So I turned up before 3.10pm. Then I was told the MOT is booked for 4:00pm.. car should be ready to collect around 5:00pm. Apparently the booking time and the MOT time are separate. So basically had to wait 2 hours instead of 1hour.. Halfords should make this clear to customers at point of booking.Other than that the service provided was overall good.

I have never given one star review but this is my worst ever experience hence this review.I sent my car for major servicing at Wokingham Autocentre . It had no issues but when the car came back, there was smoke coming out of car bonnet.I took it back to the autocentre, who after diagnostic, informed me that the rocker cover seal is leaking. I asked them how is it possible that the car was all good when I handed it over for service and why now there is smoke coming out. They said they its not related and they cannot do anything. I then took it to an independent garage who after inspection told me that its not the seal but the actual rocker cover was broken. How it got broken is a mystery and I am still waiting for an answer from Halfords.

Avoid!! Will try to make you pay for repairs that don?t need doing!!I was booked in for an MOT on Wednesday morning after 25 minutes the van was out of the garage and had a massive list of fails. They asked me to leave the van with them to investigate for a price to fix, two days went past and they hadn?t touched it. I went and took the van back and got it checked by an independent garage who confirmed they were ripping me up. Half the list didn?t even need to be on there. I?ve wasted three days of work due to there incompetence. Avoid at all costs.Service: General repairs & maintenance

We used Halfords on 2 occasions in the last few weeks. First was a free a/c check and top up at their Winnersh branch; the second was a free clutch check - with no work needed at the autocenter in Wokingham. Both services were performed on-time and efficiency and I will definitely be using Halford's services again!Service: Air conditioning
