Took advantage of a lady who was a loyal customer. My sister was grossly overcharged literally for jump starting her vehicle. Replaced battery with call out charge for address a few houses down the roadtotalling £250. Tested old battery and was fine. Unnecessarily replaced battery and overcharged for the privilege. We were loyal customer spending more than £3000 a year here but no more.

Stopped to charge my ev. Both charges working and easily accessible. I charged my car whilst I took a walk to california country park which is absolutely beautiful. I returned to my car fully charged and ready to set off home. I will use again ?

Have to take my hat off to Dave who fixed my car. Took him two goes actually but he sorted out a persistent and not easily visible fault over which I had been tearing my hair out for a long time. Diagnostic computers and things are "OK" but in the end you can't beat years of experience.

I looked at the bad reviews on google and decided to give Cresswells the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. My Qashqai aircon was not working. Cresswells charged me £35 for a diagnostic check. It took them all day. No communication. Having given them the car at 9am I phoned them at 4.20pm and they said there was no leak but an imploded rubber pipe needed replacing. They said they would give me a quote. I had the car double checked by an air con specialist. The condenser showed a leak from dye so the condenser needs replacing. The imploded rubber pipe was caused by Cresswells vacumn test which the air con specialist put right in seconds by releasing the vacumn pressure. So Cresswells mis diagnosed the problem and caused the imploded rubber pipe which they could have put right in seconds. A waste of time and money. If I could put less stars I would. A mis diagnosis and the car was in worse condition than when it went in. Do not accept their imploded rubber pipe diagnosis get a second opinion.

I have been using Cresswells for more than 14 years. They are affordable and good value for money. They are always very friendly and helpful. Their customer service is excellent and they will go the extra mile for you. I needed some service documents that I hadn't filed recently and they emailed them to me within the hour. Brilliant!

This family run business proves family values. Good, honest engineers, competitive prices but with a different approach. Dealership mechanics just plug into the diagnostics and say "computer says no !!! " In addition to being up to speed with the latest technology.....these guys "THINK" and remember what we used to do 35 yrs ago on old Fords etc......they THINK like a true engineer about alternative, logical possibilities and have never failed to impress. Keep going guys - don't change.

I recently had a bad experience with this garage and would not recommend them.I dropped down some suspension arms to have new bushes pressed in that I supplied. I was not given an idea of price so was completely shocked when I went to collect them that they wanted £125 in labour. I left my number so they could call if they had problems or couldn?t do it. Nobody called me. If I had known it would be so expensive I wouldn?t have bothered. I did say to the guy If they looked like they were going to be difficult they should have called me and I would have collected them and paid for the time spent. I got no response and just had to pay so I could get my car back together.Garages need to be realistic on what they can charge for work like this and not just spend however long it takes and then charge for it.I?m a local and always used this garage but won?t go back now

We didn't use their mechanical services just the wash, air and the EV charger. All self service but it worked well and we left with a clean and fully charged vehicle. A very useful stop for EV drivers.
