Eury is an excellent host who was attentive. We enjoyed our food and the buzz in the main restaurant added to our experience. Our only but is: the size of the double tables which are small and only just adequate for main courses, wine and water.

We went here for my Mum's 60th Birthday and Mike made us so welcome, he has a fabulous smile. He was brilliant, he made it so special. The roast beef and pork was beautiful. They bought out a special dessert and prosecco for my mum's birthday and she was so touched it made her cry. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was an old lady called Anne behind us who got the royal treatment, a regular, and they treated her so well and even cut up her food. Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone had a smile. It was so welcoming and friendly. Thank you so much to Mike and the Team. You don't know how much of a difference it makes to create special memories. We really appreciate your efforts in making a special day very happy and memorable. I would recommend the Rose Inn to anyone! Five star service end to end.

Great venue for a large family event last weekend. The roast dinners were huge meals and went down very well. No room for desserts ! The organisation was really good due to pre ordering. House manager was very friendly and created a lovely atmosphere for us.. Highly recommended.

I booked for my leaving meal and drinks at The Rose last night. The food and atmosphere was great. The pepperoni pizza and rose wine was good. The service however was not.
From the beginning, I booked a table for 12 and they gave us a table of 10. They then had to pull up more chairs which made us all very cramped. I then got told by the host that it was my fault and I should have called up. I have had this booking for over 2 weeks. They should accommodate for my requests.
It took absolutely ages to get our food and drinks. We arrived at 8 and didn?t get out till 11:20ish. My friend waited a long time for her beer to found out that it wasn?t available. This should be something that you inform the guest right away.
Overall, I probably won?t be booking any events there but maybe pop in with my partner just the two of us very occasionally.

Food was a good choice and standard but there was no desert option for Diabetics such as a small cheese board or fruit and yogurt

I had a great time here. The service was great, food was tasty and there is a pet friendly dining area. Highly recommend for big groups with dogs. Suggestion to improve would be option to open tabs for the table, that would be helpful for larger groups.

Service polite and friendly but woefully slow
Told we had table for 2hrs but took half hr just to take initial order
Not great value for money either - £17.95 for gammon & told peas would be an extra £2.50!

Beautiful place, with a great atmosphere. I had a wood fired (which we actually saw being made as our booth faced the pizza oven). The pizza was lovely.
My fiancée had a harissa chicken burger, which was lovely but perhaps a bit over-done. Although, the crispy skin was delicious. My partner has quite a small appetite, so the burger was perfect - but I would have wanted a side if it were my main.
Bit niche, but we asked for some Mayonaise and was offered garlic mayo (I always struggle to find garlic mayo). This was really nice garlic mayo!
