Had eye test with measurement of pressure, as little high I had to go next day to take measurements, went took and someone told me that optician will call me next day, nobody called me, after some days called to ask and again someone said that will call me...but nothing..... horrible customer service...is appears that only thing that really care to them is taking money from people...and no give any advice about health of people... totally disagree with this attitude.

gave me the wrong prescription and information. i was told to get a specific appointment and i paid £25, only to find out almost a year later that the prescription is not eligible for contact lenses! shocking and money-grabbing. nothing was explained to me. what a waste of my time and money.

Jade was extremely helpful and understanding with my frames! I couldn't decide between two pairs, and she was very patient, allowing me to bring someone else to help make my mind up.On top of that, she was very friendly throughout the consultation and very understanding with my financial limitations as a student.Very professional staff and amazing opticians. I've been wearing glasses for 17 years, and it's been a while since I've enjoyed coming to the optician this much!Although this is not my local vision express, I definitely wish to come back here whenever I need.

Perfectly friendly and professional staff in the shop - however they're obviously let down by the wider service. AVOID.Ordered two pairs.First pair ,...late but okSecond pair - failed quality test THEN weeks later, notified the re-made lenses lost by courierI'm waiting over 4 weeks now and no chance for compensation despite spending ~£600 up front!Come on Vision Express get your act together

The most appalling customer service experiences.I booked myself a free contact lenses trial on the website. I arrived on time for the appointment and was asked if I had a prescription with vision express. I explained I did not, was told this was not a problem and did I have the prescription with me. I gave this to them, they called the other opticians as they did not have enough information and was sent into the consultation room and had a brief exam and was given a lot of information on how the trial would work.At the end of this I was charged £25 and told to come back next week to get the lenses and be trained on wearing them.I left feeling slightly confused so gave them a call to ask why I?d been charge.I was informed that the free trial was only for customers with a vision express. I told the woman that this was not made clear, she apologised and said it is stated clearly in the terms and conditions on the website.I went back to the website to find this information, which was incredibly hard to find.At this point I decided to take the matter to the vision express complaints department.I explained what had happened and waited for a call back.I spoke to a woman who agreed that the information was hard to find on the website ?I?ll admit it took us a while to find and we will pass that onto our marketing department?The woman had also spoken to the manager at vision express Windsor who was ? adamant? I had been clearly told this was the case before I went into the consultation. This is a lie. I was told nothing of the sort.I was also told that the manager was ?adamant? that I was not going to be refunded the £25.Upon a second call from the complaints department I was indeed given the refund of £25.I would like to praise vision express? complaints department for dealing with the disgusting customer service experience I received.I would also like to urge anyone looking for contact lenses or indeed glasses to avoid vision express Windsor at all costs.

Excellent service at the Windsor vision express I phoned on the day got a lunchtime appointment great eye test from Suki and a very helpful lady Channel (hope I?ve spelt the name correctly)and got two pairs of glasses an hour later,brilliant very happy.

Great staff. All friendly and helpful. Malaika was the first member of staff I spoke to when I initially visited the branch to make an appointment and look at the range of frames available. She went the extra mile to help me find a frame. She was also there to welcome me when I returned the following week for my eye test. She was just as helpful and friendly. And I soon discovered that the branch had several friendly and helpful staff, including the Optician. She was so lovely, and offered me great advice too. A lovely team who made my experience a fun one. I will definitely be returning to this branch when my 2 yearly check up is due.

PLEASE CHECK THE AMOUNT BEFORE YOU PAY - I WAS TOLD i WAS PAYING £11.50 BUT ACTUALLY PAID £81.50I went in for a contact lens check on the 25th of July. Post the check I was given a 5 day trial lens and an eye drop. When I came to the till I was asked to pay for the eye test and examination and aftercare. I then asked about the direct debit scheme for contact lens on which I was told that if I signed up and paid upfront for 3months the whole for £70 for the eye exam, after care and oct fee would be waived off. I happily paid for the drops which were £11.50.Then I went in a few days later, had a recheck and since I was happy with the contact lens I set up the direct debit and paid for the three months in advance.A few days later when I checked my bank, I could see a transaction of £81.50 on 25th of July.I called the store today on 10.08.22 and spoke to a lady called Fatima. Initially she said that since I signed up for the direct debit three days later from the exam I had to pay the whole test fee in full. But then when I said I was told to trial out the new lens for 5days, she said she will get the manager to call me back.The manager Mr. Parvinder called me back and said, the fee is waived for future tests only. Now nowhere during the conversation I had with staff in the branch did they say it was future ones.The lady who served me on the 25th called Safa Darwish, clearly said "yes you only pay for the drops today". My mistake for trusting your staff and not looking up the amount on the card machine. My trust has well and truly been scattered with VISION EXPRESS and more so with the Windsor branch.Your store manager Parvinder is probably the rudest customer facing manager I have met. On the phone he had no remorse and all he was bothered about was throwing the ball back in my court i.e. why did you not check the receipt / why did you not check on our website? It is truly shameful to see such an attitude and lack of respect for customers. All I was trying to do was find some middle ground, as yes it is my fault for not checking the card receipt and blindly trusting a name VISION EXPRESS which in the hind side I now know I shouldn't have.I am appalled by the rudeness of Parvinder in trying to pacify a situation and also by the first instance where I was told I was paying £11.50 but ended up paying £81.50.

Great experience starting from my initial visit to the branch to book an eye test, through to the eye test itself.Eye test was on the Saturday, and glasses were ready for collection on the Monday - fantastic service.All staff were friendly, helpful and professional at all times.

In the 21 years that I have worn glasses, I have popped into MANY different Eye/Glasses stores in the UK and SA and asked to have my glasses tightened. There has never been an issue, I have never been refused or charged. They would normally say, as they did today, that it would be at my own risk. So I asked the lady if she would do me favour and tighten my glasses, she said yes sure. At the end a chap comes forward and says that will be £5.00. Here I am 3 hours later and my glasses are slipping down my nose already, and I just paid £5.00 to have them tightened. What an absolute rip-off Vision Express Windsor. If this is how you expect to attract new customers, you are going about it the wrong way.Because of this service today, I and my family will never support a Vision Express Branch anywhere

Fantastic customer service. I was away from home and forgot my lenses. I called them up, and despite arriving just after the shop had closed they let me in and sold me some lenses. Massively bailed me out, thanks!!
