One of the best travel lodges have been to. The staff were fantastic, very freindly, helpful and good with the kids. Rooms were good, great location right in the middle of windsor centre. A bit noisy outside but expected in middle of a busy location, maybe they could get better spund proofing for the windows. But a great stay for a budget. Breakfast again was good, dud the job, great slection.

I love this place - all the staff are so welcoming - no matter what time of night you arrive! The rooms are clean, location perfect and I feel safe!! Stayed in dozens of Travelodges over the years and this is by far the best. Thank you.

We stayed at the travelodge Windsor Central on Saturday 13th of Jan. As it says in the name it is in the middle of all the shops and is a minute or two from the station, located around the corner from Waitrose. Great stay, very reasonably priced and amazing staff. Big shout out to Carolyn who greeted us when we returned from our meal at Mango, which we also can recommend, had drinks in the Royal Windsor, great atmosphere. "Pizza boy" Matty, made us the best pizza, as we were peckish when we arrived back at the hotel. We also arrived early at the hotel that morning and they were happy to store our bags for us. Great trip, will be back. 5 stars from us.

Fab service from this hotel. The staff were fantastic including Sandra. The breakfast was especially good and not busy like I?ve seen it in many other locations. This Travelodge is in a great spot, doorstep shopping and the Castle less than 5 mins walk. Check out the local Wetherspoons too.

Girl on reception was very friendly on booking in . Room was clean but very basic. But no plug sockets near the bed. So I couldn't plug my sleep apnea medicine in.I went down to reception to see and asked if they had extension lead . And was told no because of health and safety. But they did say I can move the bed to the other side of the room lol. I was getting a little annoyed till my wife reminded me it's a 2 Star hotel . Don't let it spoil the weekend. On advertising the room I feel they should state there is no plug sockets by the bed . Would not stay again .Rooms: Basic and uncomfortable bedsFood & drinks: Talking to other people who ate there doesn't bother . Lot's of nice places to eat close byNoteworthy details: Beds are uncomfortable .

Our room was basic but functional. The best part about this hotel is the convenient location - it's just a short walk from landmarks and attractions, such as the castle and Alexandra Gardens. It's also right by the high street, so close to shops and cafés/restaurants. Very near the train station too.The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The family room was good value for money. The downsides were the entrance being hard to find and the room was beside a busy roadNearby activities: Escape ExperienceWindsor CastleAlexander ParkWindsor Leisure CentreFood & drinks: I recommend the keralan cauliflower curry! Bonus is food can be taken up to the room

Had a family room, for 3, staff were really friendly, room was nice and clean, the location is excellent for exploring Windsor. Parked in the Windsor Yard car park, and presented the ticket at reception, which makes parking half price.

Good location in Central Windsor, so perfect for site seeing , shopping and restaurants ? Other than that...the lack of 24/7 working lifts which means it's not easily accessible for those with pushchairs, wheelchairs or physical disabilities. Nice room, and had a peaceful and enjoyable stay ?Walkability: Travel lodge central is in easy walking distance of Central Windsor Royal Station, shops, Windsor castle, and every kind of restaurant and cuisine you can think of. There's so much to see locally and certainly worth spending some time there ?
