Had an amazing meal at the Prince Harry. Wasn't sure about entering as nothing stated as Gluten Free on the menu. Spoke to staff at the bar who were also unsure. They then spoke to the kitchen who highlighted each option upon reviewing the ingredients.
So the GF in our group chose the pork belly which he loved. I had the steak and ale pie, which was incredible and delicious.
The pub itself was a really nice traditional old English pub. Would definitely return if ever in Windsor again

Charming Windsor pub near the castle
We were first drawn to The Prince Harry by its name, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our visit to Windsor. The pub?s old building is full of character, with an atmospheric interior featuring interesting details ? especially the photos of Prince Harry, after whom it?s named.
The location is perfect, just steps away from Windsor Castle, making it an ideal stop for a drink or meal while sightseeing. The vibe is lively yet welcoming, and the food is tasty, freshly prepared, and served in generous portions at reasonable prices. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere really add to the experience.
They offer a dedicated children?s menu, which makes it convenient for families visiting Windsor. The relaxed atmosphere also means kids feel welcome.
If you?re looking for a cosy and historic pub with good food, family?friendly options, and a great atmosphere near Windsor Castle, this place is definitely worth a visit!

The best pie to date. Been travelling the UK for 5 weeks and can assure you this beef n ale pie has come in at No. 1
And we?ve had some fabulous pies on our journey.
The apple crumble was also better than our Royal Caribbean cruise liners dessert.
If only we weren?t travelling from Australia we would come for a daily lunch. Staff were also cheerful and friendly.

Staff was amazing and made sure we had everything we asked for and provided good suggestions. Beef pie and the crispy baked right then crust. Delicious!

Great service, the fish and chips were great (we were with a larger group, one of whom recomended the restaurant as he usually goes here when he visits Windsor, and all members of our group had the fish and chips). Would come back, and would recomend.

4 stars in the food because their menu options are plentiful. Mexican Nachos were suffering from anything authentic flavor wise but their Indian selections are very tasty. Beer options are typical offerings with a few specialties. Some of the wait staff seemed a bit put off with questions about selections at the bar so they missed a star there. I'm sure a visit at a different time of day would yield a different experience. May be worth another try.
