My contact lens appointment turned out to be a complete waste of time. No one informed me to bring a printed eye test, it was also not mentioned in the email I got prior to the apointment. The lady who served me suggested for me to go to my previous optician or come back another day instead of providing a solution there and then. After the appointment I got an email saying sorry I missed my appointment which was obviously not true.

I recently visited the Specsavers branch in Windsor for an eye test and new prescription glasses, and I couldn?t be happier with the service I received.
From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and reassuring. I want to especially thank Ms. Chandra and Ms. Merlyn, who went above and beyond to assist me. They were both incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Ms. Chandra helped guide me through the process with genuine care, making sure all my concerns were addressed. Ms. Merlyn was just as attentive, helping me find the right frames and making sure they fit comfortably and looked great.
The eye test was thorough, and the advice I received felt personalized and honest. I never felt rushed at any point, and the team made sure I was fully happy with my choices. The glasses were ready quickly, and the prescription is perfect ? clear vision, no discomfort, and very comfortable to wear all day.
It?s rare to find customer service that feels this personal and thoughtful. I truly appreciate the help from Ms. Chandra and Ms. Merlyn ? they made what could?ve been a routine appointment into a really positive and memorable experience.

I recently visited the Windsor Specsavers store after many years of using the Slough branch. I have to say, the difference in experience was night and day. At the Slough store, the staff never seemed happy to serve ? it often felt like customers were being judged or profiled and put into boxes. The service always felt cold and impersonal, and for a long time I assumed that was just the Specsavers standard everywhere.
But my visit to the Windsor branch completely changed my perspective. The staff there were genuinely warm, friendly, and professional. They smiled, took the time to listen, and went the extra mile to make everything easy and comfortable. I finally saw what real customer service at Specsavers can be like.
A truly outstanding team ? thank you to everyone at Windsor Specsavers. You?ve set the bar high!

I had a contact lense appointment at the Windsor branch. Waiting to be seen, staff talking badly of another employee. Then became giddy, whilst talking about the window cleaner. Optician nearly bit my head off for not bringing in my lenses box. ?How do I know what you are using?! I understand, if this was a problem why was I not told before hand when booking the appointment? It wasn?t what she asked but her tone of voice. Quite rude, not once did she apologise for not informing me in advance. A waste of my time and day. I booked an appointment next day with boots, no issues. Exceptional experience. Will not be returning and sticking to boots.
