On the surface, this might seem minor, but it left me very disappointed and, I believe, damages M&S?s brand.
I bought a sandwich downstairs and a hot drink upstairs in the café, only to be told I couldn?t eat the sandwich there.
As a loyal customer of 30+ years, I found it illogical, unwelcoming, and out of step with my expectations from M&S. Such small experiences make a significant difference ? and sadly, this one left me questioning my loyalty.

Lovely experience, speedy service, I ordered a tuna toastie and it was lovely. The staff also gave us each (there were 5 of us) a complimentary banana bread each which was very kind and hospitable of them. Amazing experience overall and will definitely be coming back when I'm next in Windsor!

Shout out to the lovely store manager lady who sorted a very unpleasant problem out for me. I had ordered some items online, received the completely wrong items, so naturally returned these, clicking "wrong item received" as return reason and returned the whole order into the returns pigeon hole, only to get a call from someone claiming I hadn't returned what I ordered (nope, since I never received what I ordered!), and that they were therefore unable to process my return. Thankfully, my favourite store in town has an amazing store manager who immediately saw the problem and solved it within a few minutes. Happy customer now back home with the correct items! Suggestion to the headquarters: If a customer receives the wrong items, make the return "counter only" so the situation can be explained, as apparently the clerks who process the returned items can't view the "reason for return: wrong items received", which escalated the whole situation. Again, thanks to the lovely lady who sorted it ??

Very bad treatment by the staff. I was buying some food today and was about to ask lady something working there and very rudely without answering she said excuse me and left the place. So rude and disappointed by the service.

Martha is a star...so helpful,smiley and efficient...a credit to M and S...every store should have a Martha..also young black operative was lovely..

Had a lovely brunch today at cafe and was served by lovely lady Susanne. She took the order with smiling face and was so kind as she guided me through the menu as I am vegetarian and service was so nice by the team names Thomas and Martha. Good experience overall. Lovely staff x

There are some good food finds in M & S Simply food. Bananas were cheap at 90p per kilo and they were really great quality! Bakery has lots of variety and I settled on the cinnamon scroll that was a little dry but still enjoyable to eat! Woman at the self-service checkouts was somewhat rude towards me when I asked a question about how to scan my items. Hmmmm, I'm not sure about the Percy Pigs though, maybe it was the less sugar option!

The toilets here are absolutely disgusting. The accessible toilet has poo splattered everywhere up the back, and then the ladies had wee and poo all over the seat so me and my friend who is in a chair has had to use the men's toilets.
