I spent two weeks in the area and I slept here for at least 4 nights, I gladly returned because I had a very good time.Excellent breakfast, standard rooms for the level and very practical, extremely kind and helpful staff.Note of thanks to the staff who on the last day helped me find a hat that I had lost, really appreciated.Walkability: In less than 10 minutes on foot you are on the Thames and in the center of Windsor, in 8 minutes you arrive at the bus stop of the line thanks to which with less than ?3 you can get directly to the center of London. Travelodge equivalent rooms, rooms show some signs of wear and floors 2 and 3 are currently being refurbished so I guess it?s a little more quite than normal. Walkable to the the castle, main areas and shopping within 10-15 minutes.Walkability: Walkable to most places of interest but not near, will need to walk or taxi.Food & drinks: Bar in lobby and can take drinks to your room.

Very friendly staff and made to feel especially welcome by Daniel and Casey, both very Attentive and service oriented and could not do enough for the hotel guests. Breakfast good quality, spaciousness of the rooms and cleanliness of the place makes it really stand out. It?s far enough away from the tourist parts but only a 12 minute walk to the castle so you really have the best of both worlds.Nearby activities: Windsor Castle, Browns bar and grill restaurant, definitely worth a visit.Walkability: 12 minutes walking from the main attractions in Windsor, if you feel like a trek further out you have the world famous Eton College and Windsor Great Park.Noteworthy details: Watch out for the ATM machines around Windsor, they charge an extortionate exchange rate from your currency into English pounds and rip you off. There are no banks in the vicinity of the tourist traps so if you don?t play it smart Themen your either at the mercy of the ATM machines or pay with your cards.

9 Yr old says, "It's a good place."Reasonable location 10 min walk to the Castle and the River.The room was well appointed and comfortable, although the thermostat needed turning down 23~18Breakfast is self-service with a good selection.If I had a negative, it's the £13:00 car parking charge! I'm paying to stay parking should be free. Also beaware the hight restrictions in the underground carpark, any 4x4 will be interesting. Mine too big for the bays.Nearby activities: It's in Windsor it's all an Activity

We did a bit of a road trip - visiting historic sites, so stayed here for the castle visit, really pleased we did, super clean, VERY nice staff (thank you Hidei) - and a good breakfast. Certainly will stay here again.

Correct room, no drawers or refrigerator.The restaurant, little variety and bad cuisine (the hamburgers are compiled and super stale). Breakfast, acceptable.Reception, there are not always people, in addition, the reception staff are the ones who serve the bar and restaurant.Good location, 2 minutes from the pedestrian street and 12 minutes from Windsor Castle

Did not move my reservation to new date as claimed - instead created a new one and did not cancel the old one, therefore charging me more than double.Ignored my messages about this, and then unwilling to help over the phone. Not worth the hassle, safest practice is to go to another hotel that values their guests over money.

This is a very expensive Holiday Inn Express. The location is OK. The car park is very tight with spaces that are too small. The rooms are basic as expected. I was disappointed with the staff - they were totally disinterested in my request for a quiet room. You should be able to find better in Windsor.

A good value hotel for what we paid. Rooms clean, tidy just looking a little dated. Service, the men working on the PM shift were friendly and helpful when we checked in /bar service. Breakfast was a little, chaotic and food quality average. Really good location for walking into the town centre / walking into Eton / getting out to the races.
