We ordered for home delivery. The order was large and it arrived quickly, hot and completely correct. Food portions are 10/10, all fresh ingredients. Childs menu which was perfect. Amazing food! Best take out for quality and service I've ever had.

We had a takeaway from this place, thinking from the reviews it would be very good quality food. It arrived looking okay but we were soon too notice both curry's looked the exact same. Obviously you cannot judge from only how it appears so we tasted it. The curry itself was bland and they both tasted identical sadly both tubs were also over filled with oil. Again we continued too give it a go considering it cost £50. The chicken was so chewy I had too double check wether it was actually cooked... luckily it looked fine just have too hope the peices already consumed were well cooked. If your looking for a curry that u walk away feeling healthy after I recommend here as it mostly ended up in the cat bowl and bin. Can confirm its still in the cat bowl and neither cat would consume it.

We arrived at around 5pm on an ordinary Sunday evening. Sat down at the table and immediately received a complimentary portion of poppadoms. Friendly staff who were very knowledgeable assisted with our order as wanted to clarify spice levels. The food was delicious, and whilst we were on our own in the dining room at first, plenty of people arrived around half an hour after opening. Would recommend!

We had a great meal at Gurka. The butter chicken and chicken tikka were full of flavor, and the naan was fresh and delicious. Even our three kids were happy ? which says a lot! We'll definitely be back.

After following this place on social media basically ever since the day they opened, finally paid a visit... The service was great, hostess was friendly and accommodating, even after we switched tables 3 times and finally sat outside..lol.. Didn't take pictures, which is quite unusual, guess we were to busy chatting but we had the Gurka Revenge goat and also one chicken, one Himalayan chicken curry and one Goan prawn curry, with sides of basmati and pilau rice, Bombay potatoes and Dal Makhani... Even the martini was great followed by a nice cold beer...Must say that to me, it was one of the best curries I've had, as all the flavors are so distinct and flavorful... definitely a place that I'll be coming to, again, considering also that it's within walking distance..5?

I really, really liked this :) First time I have been and went for an evening meal with a group of colleagues after work. There is taking for about 6 off street parking at the restaurant itself, but plenty of nearby roads to park. The service was attentive, the food arrived quickly, and every one said their meal was delicious. I had curried goat for the first time - absolutely delicious :) Can highly recommend, and will definitely be going back :)
