Very disappointed. £150 for an appointment. I asked another provider for a second opinion, which contradicted the Eye Academy's prescription. I asked Eye Academy for a re-test and they told me it would cost £80. Regret using them.

Been going for over 10 years and although I only see the team once or twice a year they are always familiar, personal, caring and make the whole process seamless. The team are fabulous and I always leave with a smile on my face. More than just an ?Optician?.

I needed to seek urgent care this week from Windsor Eye Academy and I can say ( as a clinician and after living in Australia, UK, Denmark and the US) I received both gold standard clinical care and exceptional professional service. The clinical and ancillary staff ensured I was quickly seen, and made an extraordinary effort to ensure I received the prescription needed to quickly treat my condition, despite there being a shortage of medication. Windsor Eye Academy also has a great assortment of glasses and other optical solutions. I could not recommend them highly enough.

The Windsor Eye Academy and in particular Satvinder Sondh have given me absolutely excellent service over the past few months, when a complicated issue arose with the fitting of some new lenses to Adidas Evil Eye glasses.These had to be manufactured abroad and the supplier did not make them correctly. Satvinder repeatedly went above and beyond to manage the many issues that arose with the provider over 4 months. I am extremely grateful to her for her professionalism, perseverance and all her efforts to finally secure the new lenses for me.Thank you Satvinder ?, and thank you to the Windsor Eye Academy. I strongly recommend them - if you go to them, you will not be disappointed.

Made to feel very unwelcome. A male staff member was slow to offer any help and then was hesitant to let me try glasses on in case, and I quote, ?try them on and buy online or elsewhere?. I was so taken aback he actually said this. Made me regret ever walking in. It irked me so much, that this is the first review I?ve ever made.

Beware if you are not experienced in specifying what glasses you need.My dispensing optician failed to ask questions like other opticians says are standard practice to ask, like: What's your occupation/ do you use a computer screen.As a result, I paid £400 for lenses (in addition to the frames) that I'm unable to use at work since my job is desk based. I had to go to another optician to get replacement lenses, since I didn't feel qualified to tell the Eye Academy "optician" what lenses I needed.In my case, the Eye Academy was the equivalent of buying glasses off the internet, but at double the price and the hassle of going there four times.The only thing they were concerned about was getting payment up front and cover their backside by asking "are you sure" as opposed to asking the relevant questions/ explain what they meant by their question.They only offered a £200 discount if I paid another £250 to have them provide the replacement lenses - taking the total for lenses excluding frames to £650!Cowboys and a rip-off - so much for thinking higher prices meant better service. Should have gone to Specsavers...
