Awful breakfast. £11.95 - but cheap ingredients and poorly cooked. Cold beans, mushrooms dried up, no bread choice (just thin cheap white). Dreadful.

Went in for breakfast on a visit to Windsor this week. Unfortunately the scrambled eggs we ordered were dry and rubbery. The mushrooms on the side were not fresh and looked pre cooked and dry.We asked for extra butter and the server hurriedly dumped them on the table.

The best thing about this cafe is the location. The food was very poor. The poached eggs were both under cooked and overcooked swimming in cooking liquid. The mushrooms were dry the sausage dried out and the beans had been reheated at least 3 times. The staff were surly and the atmosphere nonexistent.

Marvellous cafe that was pretty much full when I went for lunch after 14:00. Really delicious food and drinks. Excellent service and lively environment; would definitely return when back in Windsor.

We have been going to this cafe for a couple of years now and it was the best coffee in Windsor. However just lately the prices have shot up and the coffee has got weaker. £3.55 for a flat white is very pricey for something that tastes no better than a very weak late. Such a shame as it?s in a nice location.

Walked in and all the tables were filthy. Staff all hovered behind the counter chatting and laughing. On see my family they looked annoyed that we had walked in. Asked if tables could be cleaned. One stroppy staff member pulled a face and said 'you've only gotta ask'. No, the shop should have clean tables. On saying ' I have just asked' she replied 'get out and don't come back again'. Totally shocking behaviour from this member of staff.

We visited your cafe this morning which 7 of us were hoping to have a lovely breakfast . Firstly 1 meal out of the 7 came out about 10 mins before and then the next 6 did . After waiting so long we were disappointed to discover they were all cold . Not once did one member of staff firstly apologise for the first meal coming out 10 mins before but also didn't check all other meals were ok. Upon leaving I went to the counter to explain our disappointment in which all the staff looked looked at me in disgust . I explained all the meals were cold and that we were very disappointed after spending £90 at the cafe . The rude lady who appeared to be in charge but doing not a very good job behind the counters response was ? we should of asked for it all to be reheated . Most people know that meat should not be heated especially in a established eatery. It would of also been hard to reheat the already clearly reheated sausages , bacon and well done mushrooms . The waitresses could clearly see that the food was not enjoyed as it was left on the plates by us all. I walked off as they were all rude . After this my dad walked back in also to complain where he stood and listened to all of the ladies behind talking about me very unkindly . Its such a shame a perfect location opposite the beautiful castle yet very rude and unprofessional staff maybe if staff were more attentive the cafe would be a lot busier .

Great spot for lunch or just a coffee break. On Windsor High Street either sit inside and look out through the large open spaces or sit in the High Street and soak up the atmosphere. Great coffee and scones with clotted cream

Really lovely peach iced tea and very reasonably priced. However, not a lot of gluten free options and the cappuccino was very frothy, a bit too much.

I would say it?s disgusting behaviour.I went to the shop today ( 25 June 2023 at 4:40 pm) and brought regular strawberry milkshake worth £4.50.It just tasted like milk and I went to the counter back saying that it just taste like milk.They say their milkshake are made with zero ice cream and sugar whilst they sell ice cream scoops in a separate counter.I did not know this and All I did was leave the milkshake on the counter and walk away as they do not want to do refund as well.All they say that all their chains are zero ice-cream milkshake.

I looked for a WiFi coffe and found this. Order a sandwich for lunch and a coffee and the sandwich was actually terrible. Hummus and falafel not recommended at all. Given the location I was really expecting decent food.

The coffee is really good! Really! They have a good selection and the staff are kind. No matter what time of day you get there, they greet you with a smile and act fast and efficiently.As for the atmosphere. It's a great place to sit down and just look outside at the people passing by.

Served in paper cups when others sitting in had China cups. When I asked why the reason was that the shop would get hectic before closing. I suspect the real reason was the staff did not want to wash up any more. Usually good, the coffee was poor: a cappuccino that was mostly froth. The staff were not particularly agreeable when wanting the drink topped up.
