I almost never write public reviews, but in this case, feel it's necessary. The couple who run this store are absolutely incompetent. There is no other way to say it, and after reading other's reviews, I see that I'm not alone in having a bad experience at this shop.Dropped off a pearl earring to be matched (we'd lost the other while on holiday over Easter). This pearl was especially important to us because it was a gift my wife received from her father on our wedding day, so having it replaced is a big deal. Upon inspection, they told me it would take UP TO two week's to match and replace the earring, seemed reasonable...that was 29th of April. After several visits, with constant excuses about their jewelry repair person (seems they only have one helper, who either has covid, is injured, or simply isn't returning their phone calls), I still don't have a matching earring. The latest, stopped in on Thursday, 21st of July for about the 10th time, and was told (by the man) that his jewelry repair guy isn't taking his calls at the moment but that I should definitely come back on Saturday. I explained that Saturday was my deadline because I was leaving the country for a month and needed the earring back, preferably as a pair, because our wedding anniversary is in August and I'd like to give them to my wife as a surprise (can't believe it's taken this long, they were never meant to be an anniversary gift, but here we are). I left the store very frustrated, but as instructed came back to the store just now, on Saturday, to find it closed for the day!It's sad to see such incompetence, poor customer service and what is beginning. to feel like deception...just hoping I can get the original pearl back before they lose it altogether.

I brought gold hoop earrings to this business in February and checked back three times in person to see if they were finished. Each time I was met with excuses as to why the jeweler hadn't been able to finish them. Finally in June a woman told me that the earrings had been stolen in the mail and lost. They never made it to the jeweler but this was covered up every single time I came in to ask about them. They said they would reimbuse me, but I hightly doubt this is going to happen. Please avoid this business! They lost the earrings my husband gave me for a Christmas gift and they can't be replaced.

Took my watch to change the strap. Absolutely the worst customer service ever! The owner was very rude and has no idea of professional customer service. COVID pre cautions are practically zero. I would not recommend the shop. Rude and inconsiderate.

I took a watch in for a replacement battery and they broke the glass. I was not atall bothered as they said they would get it sorted with no charge. Almost two months later and numerous phone calls later I eventually got it back but was charged £20 for the battery which after some discussion got reduced to £10 but I would definitely never recommend this jewellers for any kind of repair.

2 gold rings, one purchased in the shop one purchased elsewhere, both needed to be adjusted. 2 attempts later the rings were still the incorrect size even though my fingers were measured in the shop. Third time the rings went away and after numerous phone calls, they couldn?t advise when they would be returned. The rings were finally returned after 10 weeks and they had not been adjusted since the last time. I asked for a refund and was told no I could only have half back! 6 months later I have 2 rings that still don?t fit. The gentleman in the shop is very rude he told me to ?shut up? when I asked for the refund.

I wanted a special memento to take home that would remind me of my first trip to England. After looking all over London the week prior not finding anything that spoke to me, we stumbled upon this tiny jeweller in Windsor on our last day. I asked the lovely gentleman inside if he had anything under 100 pounds and he brought out a tray of vintage silver rings. I found my perfect ring in that tray immediately! I wear it every day and it keeps the memories of my trip close by. I couldn't be happier with my ring. Thank you for such wonderful service!!

Took a £15 charm in for linking. Quoted £20 to fix, then tried to charge £25 on collection! Did a good job, but why try and cheat your customers?
