I was nearly home after a long drive yesterday worn put and tired , I pulled in to the services for stretch and seen the west Cornwall little stall, I got excited as I used to love the peppered Steak pasty, I hadn't been to these pasty shop in years.As I was waiting to be served I was acknowledged by a lady as she was serving a customer, the smell of the food was so nice, she was super helpful with the customer before me. While I was waiting I didn't see and peppered Steak pasty but went for a traditional and it was so lovely really perked me up from long drive. The lady that served me was very welcoming and lovely and super helpful. I believe her name was Kim.Please bring the peppered Steak pasty back!

Back for Christmas, just flew into Heathrow. I live in a pasty desert - they are no more available here than steak and kidney pies. How happy I was to stop at Newbury services and find that I could buy a genuine Cornish pasty. I bought a large one! However when I got it home to eat, I found that the pastry was seriously undercooked. Can you see the raw layer? Very, very disappointing. Get a grip or this chain is doomed.

Stopped for breakfast at the services and saw that they did bacon and sausage rolls .. Purchased a sausage and a bacon roll and 2 hash browns .. Rolls so dry they crumbled, sausage pretty dry, bacon snapped it was that dried out , one of the hash browns was inedible .. Would have returned them but we were back on the road .. Never again

At first, the pasties might seem expensive, however, they do meal deals, which make this much better value for money. I got a pasty, which was served hot and a coffee as part of a deal, which was very reasonable. The serving area was very clean and the staff serving were very friendly. A much better food option than a burger.
