Went in recently and it was not a good experience.
Said hello to the lady behind the counter when I entered the shop and was greeted with what I can only describe as a death stare.
No acknowledgement or a 'good morning'. Just a look of pure contempt.
Of course minutes later someone else went in who I can only assume was a regular and she was greeted like a long lost relative.
The shop very much seems like a local shop for local people and if you go in for the first time you are viewed with a mixture of disdain and suspicion.
Bought a CD and whilst the lady who served me was more friendly than the first member of staff I saw she tried to charge me £2 instead of £1 despite the prices being up on the wall next to her!

Prices are ridiculously high selling clothes over £70 for a pair of jeans in charity shop! Second hand clothes for people that can't afford clothes at all. Same day, i bought a brand new branded handbag for only £4.50 in dogs trust. It feels like they are making profit from donated clothes and going into their pockets.I've never seen these prices in a charity shop unless it's a shop that sells second hand high end brands.

Went in today looking for dog blankets but was told they cannot do them as people would rumage through themWhat difference is it to rumage through clothes to dog blanketsI cannot understand meant to be a charity shop for animals. But does not sell anything for animals

The shop is always inviting, well lit and friendly looking. I am aware of the rule stated on the 28/06 about donations before open hours, however the chap I spoke to was very rude about the fact I wanted to make a donation. He seemed distressed and agitated about my questions I was asking him.
