Optical exam was great but afterwards choosing glasses the sales person was only interested in selling glasses over £300, wouldn't show me others.So I went to specsavers and got 2 pairs for £69.00

Fabulous glasses. Worth the extra cost 100% definitely. The quality of my new glasses is infinitely superior to any of my other glasses. (Dreadful Specsavers glasses + poor Vision Express glasses.) Leightons gave me a solution which others couldn't. I now have glasses which swiftly react to light + have a slight residual protective tint exactly as I wanted + clear easy transition varifocals. Impressive. Every other optician failed to achieve this. And a superb service, the staff worked to get this perfect. Leightons can be trusted. Impressed. ??

Staff at Thatcham really good.However it's unnecessary to send me an email saying I'm due an eye test 2 months after I've had one, plus having a part break on my glasses when only 5 weeks old is not good, but the staff at Thatcham rectified the issue while I waited.

Spent £400 on a designer pair of glasses. They used the cheapest possible coating on the lenses, which resulted in them being completely unusable as they pick up any dust in the air and have a constant layer of grime that is uncleanable. Just go to Specsavers.

Really disappointed that my elderly mother went in to book a standard eye test and was pressured into booking and paying for further scans that she didn?t ask for and that she couldn?t afford. She ended up leaving feeling very embarrassed as she had to explain that she didn?t have the money to pay for these scans in front of other customers. Just an awful experience.

I was very pleased with my appointment. I was hoping to get some new glasses as had had a new lense put in. Unfortunately as scans and tests were done by Leighton's staff they found a mist on new lense and the other eye now needed removal of a cataract, I could not have my new glasses. I am now awaiting laser treatment and removal of cataract. Hopefully next visit will be succesful.

Had an eye checkup appointment with Katie Burrows at the Thatcham branch. It was such a pleasure to have been seen by Katie as she was so understanding about my eye history and I left feeling so reassured. It?s so nice to see employees that genuinely care about the customer and their concerns. She is a great asset to Leightons. Usual professional service. Informative chat with the optician gave me some ideas on managing my eye conditions. No change in prescription or eye conditions this time so no need for new specs.

We always experience excellent customer service in Leightons, Thatcham. The staff are so helpful and friendly and welcoming. My daughter had a contact lense fitting appointment today and the lady was extremely patient and helped my daughter feel at ease. I would highly recommend Leightons.

The fitment and purchasing of prescription sunglasses was easy. The optician was extremely helpful. I didn't feel pressured into buying and was given lots of time to make my own decision.
