Broken fridges/freezers for past 7-months, lack of food options because of it, the smaller co-op food shop down station road offers more and it?s a 1/4 of the size.

This store seems short on staff every time I?ve visited. Also prices generally are on the high side, even on occasions they have been more expensive than the Waitrose store in the town! If your prices were more competitive, I for one would certainly shop at The Co-op more!

Admittedly I visited just before closing time on a Sunday afternoon however I was struck by how sparsely stocked many parts of the store were. Fellow shoppers audibly expressed their frustration at their favourite items being out of stock. That being said I did find what I was looking for. The interior of the store is quite dated too. Reminds me of Tesco's from the 2000s.

Downgraded to 1 star.The way to deal with a negative review is not to block it, blame your customers and adopt a defensive attitude of sarcasm towards them; but to address and rectify the problem.It's not as though I complain regularly or for no good reason: I didn't publicly complain when one of your supervisors unforgivably called me a thief last year.If your store is attracting criticism and losing customers (not to mention staff), I guarantee you the problem is NOT your customers.

Been shopping at the co-op in Thatcham for 20 years. Never had any complaints. The staff are friendly, always up for a chat, always helpful, the shop always have everything I want. Recently they've introduced value products. Nowhere else could you buy a loaf of bread for 45p in Thatcham. Couldn't be happier with my local co-op. I'd struggle without it.

All checkout staff need to be trained on how to swipe the Totum student card properly. I only ever seem to have issues in this Coop branch. Staff either cannot get the card to scan or swipe it and don't bother checking that it has been accepted. It's not just an issue that I have, I've heard from others who have experienced this in this branch, and even witnessed it happening to someone else in front of me in the queue.
