All checkout staff need to be trained on how to swipe the Totum student card properly. I only ever seem to have issues in this Coop branch. Staff either cannot get the card to scan or swipe it and don't bother checking that it has been accepted. It's not just an issue that I have, I've heard from others who have experienced this in this branch, and even witnessed it happening to someone else in front of me in the queue.

There doesn't appear to be sufficient staff present whenever I shop at this co-op, which seems rather odd as other Co-op sites don't have this issue. There's also an issue with stock availability, especially if you intend to use the weekly personalised membership offers that are offered on the app. E.g. Sprite and Dr Pepper were offered with discount and neither were in the chiller, this isn't the first time either, it's a regular occurrence.Staff that are present seem to struggle to know how resolve issues but try their hardest. To be honest, if you have time on your hands and aren't fussed about which brand and how much you pay then you should be okay but otherwise, I wouldn't rely on this store as a 'convenience'

This shop is probably one of the worst I've ever shopped in. It's never tidy, there's no care about presentation of the shop. Offers are very rarely available. The staff in here do an amazing job of trying to keep up but they're fighting a losing battle.

Lots of empty shelves & extreamly slow service on checkout so i will not be visiting this store again.I ended up visiting another store in town who had items i needed on shelves so im not sure why co-op had empty shelves

Very small soft plastics recycling bin in store, ironically not in other Thatcham Co-ops because "There isn't room".

I am a disabled person and I am finding the way the shop is now organized rediculous..... I park my mobility scooter out on the pavement and am expected to walk through the shop across the car park to get a small trolley to put my shopping in and help me walk round. By the time I get there lm on the verge of collapse. The manager said I could bring the scooter in but its a big one like a small car and devery time i open the door to get something off a shelf it takes up 4ft of floor space and I mean 4foot. The trolleys used too be just inside the entrance easy to get at. Im so disillusioned as I haveto shop mostly at waitrose which is further away. I prefer coop products but my health comes first..... quite a few of my neighbours have gone over to waitrose too for the same reason. The manager obviously has no idea what its like to be disabled. He's only a kid.? Rating .... 3 out of 20......

Visited early afternoon of New Years Day. Not a typical day for any supermarket. I needed bread and some vegetables for dinner, mine having been consumed New Years Eve. Nice atmosphere in shop and very helpful staff. Very short of stock of bakery products. Reasonably well stocked of in-date fresh vegetable and salad products. Not expensive but more than I would expect to pay at Tesco or Sainsbury. Has own free car park at rear of store.

I don't normally comment on shops, having worked in my fair share, but feel bound to after the rudeness of the staff here. Having followed the arrows diligently around the store, I came out by the alcohol and kiosk ready to pay. I fully respect social distancing but at this point get shouted at by not one, but two, members of staff that I am in the wrong place, and then rudely pointed in the direction of the queue, which just happens to be the other side of a no entry sign. I have no problem being directed to the queue, but the lady's manner was appalling. When actually at the self service till, I then overheard the lady loudly talking with the other lady at the kiosk about how much they hate their job, moaning about the customers and that they would be happy if someone who wasn't working came and did it for them. I shop frequently in Co-op but would avoid it for the rudeness of these ladies, they are really letting you down Co-op!

Slightly challenging improvised layout to help with social distancing, to their credit they are trying to do something. Managed to find a few things I hadn''t seen in my regular supermarket for weeks.

A majority of products are over priced. You have to use the kiosk unless you have a trolley and 9 times out of 10 they have to call someone to open a till. Forget self service! You scan one item and chances are there will be an issue, the staff are right near the kiosks but are always 'unaware' of that little flashing light or you waving frantically at them. Bearing in mind self service is me and to be quick and handy for if your in a rush.
