Wee were there for a weekend meal. They closely guard the meat whilst you can binge on the veg. I had the salmon which was very nice and as they have to prepare it for you was nice and hot too.
The veg was hit and miss, some were over boiled and had most of their flavour drained or off then, others were good.
Staff were friendly though

Visited 2nd time and both the time their signature dish offering of rotisserie wasn?t available, really Friday night and they don?t have enough rotisserie chicken your specialty

We booked a table at 6:40 we was promptly sat down at our table And we ordered two lots of drinks.
We went straight to the carvery, which took 35 minutes to be served
The meats were dry. We didn?t get a lot of meat., And the vegetables look like they had been sitting a long time. There was only peas, carrots, roast potatoes, mash, cauliflower cheese, Mac and cheese..
Luckily, I had a voucher and only paid half price for the food, but I was very underwhelmed and don?t think I will be going back again.

I was in the UK for work and was taken by UK friends to Toby carvery for lunch on the weekend. Food was good, not used to a carvery as not common in Australia. I don't normally write reviews but this was deserving.
My post relates to an employee, her name was Sharon and no I'd never met her before. She was bubbly, had a sense of humour, attentive, followed up on how my food was, and if there was anything else she could do, she was amazing. She was a credit to the establishment, and must say they are lucky to have someone like her representing them to their customers. Thanks from Oz to Toby carvery for a good lunch and to Sharon for her outstanding service.

Place was quite messy, loud and a little disorganised. A lot of tables had dirty plates and didn?t seem clean. Received a parking charge notice at the end when parking in Toby Carvery?s car park. Poor experience all round. Other tobys I?ve visited have not been like this.
