The guy is there is cocky and knows not a single thing about customer service. I went in to get a watch battery changed and he quoted 25 quid, half the watch price to start with.While changing the battery i asked to leave the rubber band intact and he said it would be £5 extra which made no sense as i have worked in jewellery before & know same tool is used to put the back on. He took the battery out and gave me the watch back telling me to go somewhereThat confidence to be rude to a customer only comes from being the only watch repair shop in Slough. Family business with no morals and principles.

Well that's a first. I arrived at a this Timpsons to get a key cut. I was the only customer in quite a large premises, I guess this branch offers all services. There was one member of staff doing something like paperwork at the till. The unique experience was that I was told to wait 20 minutes. It was pointless to wait as I didn't have anything else to do in Slough. Instead I walked another 15 mins to the end of the high street where there was an independent key service. My advice is, if there's a long wait, at least explain a bit of detail as to why, otherwise you leave potential customers wondering.
