To say our stay was unpleasant would be an understatement. We arrived late after traveling all day with our kids. We booked a hotel room only to realize the couch was not a pull out couch as stated in the amenities- no big deal, right? Surely there should be an easy fix. However, the night shift manager is the most unpleasant and inconsiderate person I have ever come across. He did everything in his power to NOT solve this problem and to make our stay miserable, stating that this was our problem and he does not have an option to switch our room or give us an extra bed. He told us in order for us to fix this, we?d have to come down to the front desk and see if he can book us a NEW room. Not help switch our rooms, not bring in a bed, but for us to book a whole other room ?if they have it?.
Every time we went down to the service desk, we waited 20 minutes or more to even speak to someone because there was always a line. Each time he shoo?d us away or we talked to another rep which would try to help, but then the manager would shut them down. He also spoke so condescendingly on the phone to a staff member about us, when he didn?t realize he was on speaker and the staff member was right next to me trying to help us out. Overall terrible service and experience.
The front desk is located at THE BAR of the hotel, which I think is a security risk on its own - with the whole bar having view of the computer screen .
After about 2 hours (around 2am) we finally got a cot delivered, and get this?. It was located directly across from our room. It was THAT easy.
Why would you do this to a family and children at this hour when there is a clear solution? I don?t understand. It was beyond rude and frustrating.
Oh, and our bathroom sink didn?t drain so we brushed our teeth and used the kitchen sink for everything we needed.

PERFECTTTTTTTTTTT. 11 days and I do not regret a day spent there.

Very friendly staff. Small breakfast, but sufficient, rooms are clean. Just a few minutes away from train station.

Honest review from Marriott Bonvoy elite.
This hotel is going downhill rapidly from what it used to be few years ago.
Let?s break this review down.
? Location is getting sketchier in Slough
? Lots of shady activities nearby with reports of mugging and criminal violence offenses
? Not access secure even with key card
? Breakfast quality has gone down
? Reception is not always in service
We had 3 kids show up at our door on the 7th floor to pull a prank with printed out sheets. I called the staff and she confirmed they were staying here and that she has asked them again to stop this activity. My guess is that those kids belong to one of the hotel staff members?not acceptable. If they were guests, why were they not asked to leave, clearly this was not the first time they did this.
? Alert: For tourists, the nearby area used to be much safer, however?economic situation has resulted in lots of crime. Be careful. Avoid walking outdoors after dark. Be vigilant. We witnessed crime scene across the street with police cars all over, which was just very concerning.
? Access: Uber delivery was able to get access to our floor 7 despite the elevators having access control. The reception is handled by the adjacent Moxy hotel staff at times.
That said, the hotel overall is decent. Our suite was dusty when we arrived, the housekeeping staff changed the sheets and towels promptly.
Overall, if you are traveling here for work?it is manageable, just be aware and careful. I would not recommend families staying here based off our experience the last few days unless you plan on not walking outside and just taking Uber or taxi.
This used to be a great location and our preferred hotel near LHR, however that is no longer the case unfortunately. We will not be back here.

If you?re thinking of visiting Windsor Castle, this is a great place to stay. That?s just a short ride away. Large rooms with plenty of space. Good restaurants nearby.

Exercise extreme caution when booking this hotel if you have a car. Our car was broken into in the hotel?s own parking lot, which shockingly has no CCTV or security guard. How can a hotel leave so many cars completely unprotected without warning guests at check-in? Due to their negligence, our two laptops, hard drives with 20+ years of memories and archives were taken. I was lucky that my car wasn?t stolen.

Stayed here with 2 young children, hotel was very nice, clean had a spacious family room had everything we needed and a good view, parking was a few minutes walk away and cheap. Train into London was easy and cost £13

We stayed at the Residence Inn Slough for two weeks and overall had a good experience. The rooms are modern and well-equipped (just a heads-up?there?s no oven, only a small hob and a microwave with grill function). The beds could use an upgrade?they?re quite soft and we kept rolling into the middle.
Breakfast is included, which is great, but it?s fairly small and the same each day. That said, the staff are always lovely and helpful. The gym has enough equipment for a solid workout, and the rooms facing the courtyard are generally quiet?except Monday mornings when recycling and deliveries happen.
It?s super convenient for access to London, being very close to the station. Just keep in mind that it is Slough?worth doing a bit of research on the area. A lot of families stay here for easy access to Legoland.
Free parking is a bonus?it?s about a 5-minute walk from the hotel. It?s not gated, but we felt safe and didn?t have any issues during our stay. Overall, the staff really make the place, and it?s a solid option if you?re looking for a base near London with a bit more space at a good price.
Bonus tip: Little Lahore restaurant across the street is absolutely delicious?we?d highly recommend it!

Great place, especially for families. Lovely top floor for breakfast and amazing views. 10min train ride to Windsor, close to shops and restaurants. Perfect for Legoland or the castle. Staff were amazing, especially in the night when my son was poorly. They went above and beyond for our stay.

Staff was INCREDIBLE (Georgiana was an absolute sweetheart), start to finish. We were very happy with our experience and would definitely stay here again as I have friends who live in the area, or at the Moxy (same building/staff, first 4 floors). Our suite was perfect & 24hr room service is an awesome perk! Also, it's less than a hop skip and jump from a nearby Wetherspoons if you need to save some money on your drinks or food purchases.

This is a pretty standard Residence Inn. Everything that you could expect from this brand in the States. It's a very good option for those who don't really appreciate surprises. The breakfast area is shared with Moxie. My first room had a plumbing issue, and as soon as I reported it, the staff offered a different room with no problems. Everything went smoothly. I do want to warn you that this is not the safest neighborhood and not the best one. Consider this when you're choosing this location. But it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Safe travels to everyone.

This is a solid hotel that is great value. Breakfast is on the top floor with lots of natural light and was terrific to have the sun shine in. The options offered were fresh and high quality - not the cheap fast food offered by other chains. Great selection of hot and continental. Gym is a welcome addition. Rooms were newly renovated and clean and well supplied. The only slight issue was initially finding where to stop the car as there is no clear driveway and there were no instructions to enter from a different street! This caused confusion with a few rideshare pickups.

Love everything about this hotel, it was like a home away from home. Appreciate the room upgrade and recognition of Marriott status. Great location, close to train, tesco and local food scene. Spacious rooms, especially if you're traveling with kids. We loved the place so much that we cut down our stay in central London so we could return to the Residence Inn. Will be a regular.

Staff were friendly and helpful most the time, but the experience was mixed. The shower was a letdown, poor water pressure and a cheap shower head that kept falling. Cleaning was inconsistent, even after requesting the room to be serviced. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.
As a Marriott Bonvoy Platinum member, I didn?t feel any benefit for my status compared to other Marriott properties, no upgrade or additional perks were offered during my stay.
On the plus side, the location is great, with a big Tesco nearby and easy access to trains and buses for the airport and London. Decent stay, but some areas need improvement.
