Good large store with plenty of choice, and good prices. I like the bakery (the brownies are to die for) but you need to get there early, and watch out for little brats fingering everything with their grubby hands. There's a car park, that fills up quickly at busy times, and there's a bus stop right outside.
The only real gripe is why have they done away with the small hand baskets? The large pull along baskets block the aisles and elderly or infirm people can't reach into the bottom. If you only want a few items then you're forced to carry them in your arms, it doesn't make sense and is a marketing ploy to get you to buy more than you need!

Why have a in-store bakery and have nothing available all shelves empty at 7.48am Tues 25th Fed at the bakery area!!, also asked a polish lady employee any items being baked and she rudely passed by without stopping just muttering NO.
Normally this store is really good and stocked up, but today was. a joke and I bet they lost a lot of business due to no bakery items available.

Brilliant options. Bus stop right outside that serves the local area. Served by Kofi who had a black and white bandana and seems like he has a Frozone gig on the side! Not had such brilliant service for ages. Kofi accidently scanned one thing twice but his attitude was so brilliant and charming I was happy to go back in just to get his name! Staff and customers let me immediately fix the problem so I could catch my bus. Very busy shop and the staff work hard and listen!! Amazing work, Lidl.

Some of the most loveliest people that you can deal with. I unknowingly dropped my wallet in the store and later that evening was going nuts looking for it. One of the staff by the name of Kofi found it and he as well as another senior female staff (with pink hair- sorry did not get her name) brought it to my house. If that does not speak volumes nothing will. Thanks a million again.
