Had fantastic Sunday roast and was so nice staff were especially nice and could not do enough for you will definitely recommend and will be going back what a gem of a place

Sunday lunch was not worth the money. It was a dog-friendly pub, and I loved that as there were many there, but three massive (like massive) dogs let in roaming the pub off the lead and went to pets that I thought were friendly and started growling at me,
The dog was behind the bar, and so was the gentleman who was its owner, so I assume he was the owner or a very good local to the pub,
Either way, keep your dog on a leash. You're at a pub, not your house!
The Guinness was good, though the staff girls were lovely! But I won't be coming back!
Like the dogs sat at the bar, this place is WOOF!

Not bad I guess, but I grew up in this area and I wouldn't choose this pub over many others. Food menu is very stereotypical and service is fine but... I dunno, not a great atmosphere of the sort you want to feel when in a pub. Maybe I'm too used to city pubs so take this feedback as a single visit review, as it's intended.Beer on tap wasn't very varied at all, standard stuff really.

We wanted a good Sunday lunch roast in the Sandhurst area and were told by a local to try The Village Inn.We're very grateful for that suggestion as it was great.Friendly and helpful staff, lovely dining area, excellent food with large portions, and very reasonable prices.This area, which we are only visiting from Downunder, is lucky to have such a great pub We will visit it again before we leave and hopefully catch some music too.

Plenty of meat, huge range of veg and plenty of it! Roast turkey and stuffing, roasties, broc, cauli, lovely rich gravy.
