I was in Sandhurst for a sports competition and popped into The Shenai for some takeaway. The team are very hospitable and the food was very good indeed. Each dish tasted fresh and different, unlike the homogeny of flavour that can be found at other Indian restaurants.Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetable side dishes

My wife and I ate there with friends in November during a cold weather snap. The only heating operating was a fan heater above the entrance door. Shown to a table but uprooted 10 minutes later when someone telephoned in with a large booking. We complained three times about the heating and given three different reasons why it wasn't working. Food was good, but became cold after a few minutes. Restaurant was as cold inside as it was outside. It tends to take the fun out of dining out when you have to eat your food with a coat on.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options were the main reason for choosing this restaurant as one of our group is a veggie.

Best in the area !!! We are big Indian food fans and use these guys once or twice every couple of weeks for the last 2 years We have great takeaways from them and we frequently attend there restaurant either as a couple or to as many as 14 of us We always receive great tasting food and friendly service from all the guys there

Came here with a large group of friends this time food was superb as always. Naz looked after us as always great restaurant.

We ordered a take away for 17:45 but it wasn?t ready until 18:05 got it home to find one main was missing so we had to share 5 meals between 6 I emailed them the next day and the next but no response so scored 3 stars for poor customer service food was good

No tablecloth on just our table, poppadums were soggy, food took ages to come out, new staff so service mixed and items on the bill that we didn't end up getting. Takeaways were prioritised over those in the restaurant. However, the food when it eventually turned up was really good. There were 5 of us and we all agreed that we will not be going back.

food goodatmosphere ok .huge group so loud couldnt hear our own conversation at tablewhy you wouldn't put a mens group down the end of resturant and out of way i dont understandfood dishes for flavour was very very good ..but geez they know how to charge here .£12 for 8 popperdoms and chutney ? nearly fell of chairwould i return prob not not because of food but prices are double of other local and good indian resturants£75 bill .2 drinks .popperdoms and a main plus veg
