The worst experience online ever! I'm calling first before I place my order ,to make sure they can deliver the next day as I need those things urgently. I've been assured they can . Placed my order during morning, on the evening I receive a call and I'm informed they cant do the delivery next day ,I have to wait until Monday. That's the reason I've ordered them ,and called store first, BECAUSE I NEEDED THEM THAT DAY.I had to phone customer service where they couldn't even hear me ,wasting another 30 min on phone,shouting at them to be able to hear me . My money are stuck with you Wickes while I had to pay from my own pocket for what I need it meanwhile you have my money .All this bloody hassle for what? Stop lieying and get our money for no reasons !!!the most annoying experience ever

Went to Wickes Reading to get 40 bags of stones and a young lad there called Tom was absolutely amazing, he helped me load the 2 trolleys and pushed one for meHe then helped take them outside and helped load the van.He did most of the bags as I have a bad back and could only do someHe was so helpful and deserves a shout out from a very grateful lady!

Olivia at the front till was unbelievable! Even with the issues with wickes Head office she stayed calm and dealt with the problem. Amazing customer service.

Click and collect service was flawless; everything loaded in my vehicle 4 min after parking up.Plenty of useful advice from staff if you need it.Decent sized, dedicated parking bays.

How can you buy something that needs to be aesthetically pleasing without being able to see it? Dont get me wrong, Wickes are not the only culprits. Surely, if you can sell stuff on line, then you should be able to see it in store. If I can?t, I may as well go to Screwfix and take my chances

A decent shop with a good selection of tools and materials. I mostly use it work woodworking stuff. A couple of staff members are very helpful and polite. Others, not so much.

Wickets are okay, but do not use the one at Reading retail park. Got a ticket from Reading retail park for £100, or £60 if paid within a certain time. My wife popped into B&M after work, I later went to Halfords. Apparently there is a no return for one hour policy. I returned after 59 minutes and 56 seconds.

Avoid, avoid, avoid for kitchen installation!My kitchen has been left with serious design faults, including not installing the oven, missing worktops, and faulty doors. The installer left over a month ago, and this still is not resolved!Both the Wickes store teams and customer services are claiming they are doing all they can - but ultimately I?ve been left with a half-finished kitchen with no date that it will be resolved. They couldn?t care less now they have my money.Avoid at all costs

A lot of people complaining about the staff, and they have been nothing but friendly. Not the MOST knowledgeable but if they were, they'd be builders, not working at a hardware store.Consistently disappointing. Unfortunately it's the closest to us of hardware stores and are open later on a Sunday but I wish they weren't. As it all it results in is disappointing trips, as we arrive and they never have the thing we're looking for. Which results in a pointless trip and having to just say 'eurgh we'll get it from Amazon'.Disappointing selection of stuff, good SOMETIMES if you get lucky, but you'll find that half the time you have to look elsewhere.
