Perfect combination of the visual and sound system. I love to enjoy movies here.

I've always had a good experience when I've visited here unfortunately there are some rowdy people in the screens sometimes and I wish there was something that could be done. The screens are often very clean however I have found a few times that there was popcorn all over the floor on the top row in the bigger screens and a lot of the cup holders seem to be sticky.

Looks like Vue cinema in Reading is not maintained as everything appears very dated. The seats hadn't been cleaned and some of them were ripped. We watched a movie in Screen 4. The sound system is good. Overall an average experience for the price you pay.

I'm giving this cinema 2 stars primarily due to the disappointing image quality during a screening of 'The Creator.' For a sizable cinema, I expected much better; the visuals resembled something from an inexpensive projector. It's unfortunate, as the movie itself was excellent.

I understand that the cinema business is having a hard time but the entrance to this place is a dump. The lad on the concessions counter was pleasant but the popcorn wasn?t very fresh for the money. Loiterers hanging around in lobby. Movie brightness inconsistently flickered which was very distracting. If you want more people to come, clean up your act.

I think this is a good value cinema in an excellent location, plenty of restaurants along the promenade for a before/after meal. I saw Equaliser movie, Denziel Washington at his best as the "Avenging Angel". I had a saver seat (£6.49) it was OK but would like some recline. I think it would be worth paying £2 more for the VIP seats.

Went to see sound of freedom yesterday. Place was clean and well lit. The staff was polite and friendly.Any inquiries asked was promptly answer. Why no 5stars was that the food and drinks were exorbitant!Back to the movie - sound of freedom it is a great movie. Bring some tissues along! It makes you wonder. Go see the movie

Old and dated cinema. Paid extra for VIP seats, complete waste of money , NON Reclining!!! How can a cinema in 2023 have seats that are completely fixed, especially as they are advertised as VIP!!! This place needs a good clean from top to bottom.. actually replace all the seats then clean ?. Overall film was ok, wouldn't go back anytime soon.

Bought E-codes online and the staff from the till told me I can use them whenever, as they do not have an expiry date...and on my email it did not mention an expiry date.So I end up paying for them and not even able to use them or get a refund...unbelievable.They should train their staff better, so they know what to say to their customers.Unhappy and it makes you think if you want to come back...

Decent presentation of the film but the place looks dated now. I don't think it has had much spent on it since Warner Village opened it in 1999 other than the more expensive VIP seats. No idea what the food was like.Very handy for the Oracle Riverside car park.

We always go there, but....damn! This place looks permanently closed, with no lights in the outside, darkness in the ground floor...It took me months to understand it's open.Spend a bit on electricity to make it more inviting and cinema-like!

Very clean maintained infra and friendly staffs. The restrooms are neat. My kid enjoys her movies without complaints in seating so happy to visit again.

Staff duping customers by quietly charging more at the till than advertised prices, check your ticket for the price charged. There is no Customer Service, the phone has only a robot. Disgusting company!!!

What a total waste of money! I went to watch a horror film... The only horror I experienced was the actual cinema itself! I hardly got to watch the actual film! They left the lights on throughout the film! I mean what is that all about!!!! We are here to watch a horror! It's meant to be pitch black, that was the whole point of going to the cinema. If I wanted the lights left on I could have watched it at home. Totally ridiculous! During the film there was no staff on duty, so many viewers were using their phones, talking and walking about!!!! I was horrified at what was going on. I would NEVER go there again! Stick to the Odeon Luxe in Maidenhead! Million times better! Steer clear of the Vue Cinema unless you want your film experience to be ruined.
