They take your money but you can not contact them or get help when the phone has a fault - not impressed but eventually given a TCL-3167155 reference number by the maker.
Just hope they will send me a new one within a week or two - frustration.
Such a pity as Adam (5*) listened to me and sold me just what I wanted - excellent helpful service from him.

Review for Vodafone Reading Store
I visited the Vodafone Reading store on Friday and was assisted by Daniel Bell, who was absolutely brilliant. He listened carefully to my query, explained everything clearly, and made the whole experience easy and pleasant.
Unfortunately, my visit on Monday was a completely different story. The store manager, Raja, gave me the worst service I have experienced at Vodafone. He was chewing gum, repeatedly checking his phone while speaking to me, and showed no professionalism. Even worse, he made a serious mistake ? swapping my phone number with my business partner?s number and vice versa.
The next morning (Tuesday), I went back and thankfully found Daniel Bell again, who quickly and efficiently fixed the mess caused by Raja. Daniel is a credit to Vodafone ? the kind of person who genuinely looks after customers.
However, my experience with Raja was unacceptable, and I believe people with such poor service standards should not be representing Vodafone. I will never deal with him again.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at this branch. After reading many online reviews, I realized I?m not alone?poor service and unprofessional staff behavior seem to be a consistent issue at this location.
My experience began when I attempted to renew my contract. Unfortunately, the staff member I dealt with was rude and unhelpful, so I decided to return on another day to complete the renewal and update my address.
A month later, my SIM card suddenly stopped working. When I visited the branch again to resolve the issue, I was told that only the original staff member who had handled my contract renewal could assist me?none of the other staff were willing or able to help. After a frustrating back-and-forth, I was forced to raise my voice out of sheer frustration. Only then did the manager intervene and authorize a staff member to reissue my SIM.
However, even that was mishandled. My title was incorrectly set as ?Mr,? and I was told that this caused a ?validation? issue, preventing them from completing my request. This added yet another layer of unnecessary complication.
Throughout this entire process, I encountered poor product knowledge, unprofessional attitudes, and irresponsible responses from multiple staff members. This is clearly not an isolated incident but a sign of a larger issue?namely, a lack of proper training and customer service standards at this branch.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve the quality of service at this location. Customers should not have to struggle repeatedly just to receive basic assistance.

I bought a SIM card from this store and didn?t active for the two days and I spoke with the manager called luca and the manager told me that he can?t do the refund was a super disappointed

Customer service and internal systems are terrible
Spent 2 hours in store ordering a phone upgrade (not the first time) and then had to wait for it be delivered
Once delivered to store we are given 7 days to collect. We went to the store on 7 days, dues to holidays, but the order had been cancelled at 12:48 (not the end of the day). The only response we got was 'computer says no' your order has been cancelled. As the cancellation email was 3 hours before the device must still have been in store. Neither the staff nor the manager were helpful
Given the amount of manipulation of their systems they had to do to place the order I am sure they could have reverted the cancelation
We now have to wait 7 days to reorder but we wont. We will do it on line or , more likely go to EE!!

Great experience today with Carla. I had just purchased a new iPhone from the Apple Store at the Oracle and I couldn?t get my phone to recognise my old Vodafone sim. After some id checks, Carla swapped my ancient sim for a new one and hey presto, my iPhone was fully set up. She also gave me some practical advice should I change my phone again in the future.

There?s a staff named Raja. I think he?s assistant manager he?s such a rude guy and he doesn?t know how to deal with the customers his behaviour was totally unprofessional and disappointing but when I complained this to the store manager Dan he transferred me to another guy Hussain,He was so humble and helpful and empathetic.
