I've stayed at the voco Reading for around 40 nights over the last year or so. This is probably the best hotel in Reading. What makes this different from the Hilton, Crowne Plaza, or the Holiday Inn Reading South are the rooms and the service. The rooms are modern, stylish, and thoughtfully decorated.The service is a class above their competitors ? everybody is friendly and genuinely seem happy to see me. Shoutout to Ronan in the restaurant and Jan on the front desk. Ronan is efficient and friendly, and it?s always pleasant when he remembers my preferences and when I last stayed. Jan on the front desk is professional and efficient. I had some issues with my room which I highlighted when I left in the morning. By my return, maintenance had dealt with all of them. I also appreciate the complimentary upgrades.

Stayed here for one night as part of a shopping trip with Edwards Coach tours ,went to the Voco overnight, spacious exceptionally clean comfortable room , excellent evening meal and breakfast, and all staff amazing, would

Recently stayed here on a overnight. Business trip was puzling surprise at how large it looks from the insight. Unfortunately, had to leave too early. Would not be able to sample the breakfast facilities, but the restaurants did look. Nice rooms are quite spacious. Did come with a bottle of fizy water would have preferred still as advertised on the fridge? Beds were quite comfortable, found. It very easy to drift off to a deep sleep.

I have stayed at the Voco Hotel on over 10 different occasions for multiple days at a time and I can honestly say I have not had a bad experience to date. The staff are always welcoming and will always accommodate any requests or questions you may have. 100% recommend staying at this establishment, funnily enough I'll be staying at the hotel again tomorrow!

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, lovely room, delicious breakfast and dinner. Very convenient for Gren Park but a little out of town if you want to visit the centre. I loved it!Rooms: Room had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable.Safety: Nice secure locationFood & drinks: I had a lovely dinner and the breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want!

I love the Voco hotel.The rooms are a great size and the parking is free. But the best part is the staff. They are always polite and professional.Especially Adel, she always makes an effort, accommodates my requests, remembers my details and offers things that she knows may make my status better.Thanks everyone ??

Rooms fine. Staff great for the most part. Nearly 3 hours for dinner without as much as being asked if it was ok or offered desert or the bill. Not impressed at all.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the VOCO hotel in Reading for the first time, and my experience was largely positive.Upon arrival, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome at reception, which set a pleasant tone for my stay. The room itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and boasted a very comfortable bed with high-quality bedding.While I was disappointed to learn that the pool was out of action due to pending refurbishment, it would have been appreciated if this information had been communicated at the time of booking.Although I found the drinks in the bar and restaurant to be somewhat overpriced, the food more than made up for it. The meals were delicious, with a decent variety on offer. While the portion sizes were average, the quality of the food was exceptional.One highlight of my stay was the breakfast experience, which was excellent in both quality and variety. The wide selection of options ensured there was something to suit every taste.Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, I would happily choose to stay at the VOCO hotel in Reading again, particularly for business trips. The warm welcome, comfortable accommodations, and excellent breakfast make it a standout choice in the area.
