As everyone else has mentioned, this place is battered. Stained walls, water stains, odd smells it's got the lot.
No hair dryer, iron, toilet brush, hand soap in the shower.
Good bits, the staff are Lovely, its conveniently located and you can have great chats with all the smokers outside.
At one stage the lobby was full of police, I think someone staying got arrested. Bon chance if you stay here!

Disgusting hotel. The room itself stank, the bedding had urine stains, and the towels were filthy. The bathroom was a disgrace ? dirty, run down, with grime and limescale everywhere. Corridors reeked of damp and cannabis, and the noise through the night made sleep impossible. This place is unhygienic, run down and not fit for paying guests. Avoid at all costs.

My mother booked her stay 3 days earlier for a decent price. Money from the bank taken but no confirmation in email.
On the day of her travel we've been informed that her reservation doesn't exist and that she would have to pay almost double the price to book it at the spot.
Company prefers to loose visitor instead of helping.
Wouldn't recommend.
Nothing like this happened to us before and we travel a lot.

TV was drilled right next to the window, so couldn't even open the window properly on a hot day. Asked about parking at reception and the lady did not communicate to us properly, leaving us to trawl around for an hour for a car park, only then to be told about the parking partnership with Q park with the discount. The bathroom door did not shut properly. Complained to the manager who told us he will respond, but never received any response. Although location was very good, I don't recommend this place, nor would I stay here again.

No air conditioning. Window opens maybe an inch. Toilet wouldn?t flush. No hand towels. No mini fridge. No water. No ice machine. Spare pillows had hair on them.
The staff is friendly, but the accommodations are not great. I would not stay here again.

Family room. Very good location. The bedroom itself is fine. No plug sockets next to the beds, no air con but 2 fans provided, the window doesn't properly open so not a lot of ventilation, desk and wardrobe space is fine, lighting fixtures etc quite dusty. The reason I am rating so low overall is the bathroom, broken toilet seat, dirty and scummy marks on the base of the bath and on the walls above it, the bath is really narrow in width so difficult to turn and very slippery despite them putting down non slip mats, which were also quite dirty. Can hear traffic at all times of night even with the window closed. The staff were nice. Overall the hotel did what we needed it to do and the location is great but I wouldn't stay here again.

The receptionist was very helpful and the hotel is in a good position for accessing Reading Town. However, the hotel is very shabby, with our bathroom being less than satisfactory. No air-conditioning. Although we were given a fan, it just moves hot air around the room. The windows can only be open slightly and then you get the noise from the very busy road. I would not recommend this hotel .

This isn't that bad. Clean, but a bit tired and in need of a refresh.
No AC, so it gets very hot.
It was very cheap. You get what you pay for!

The worst hotel I?ve ever stayed. Everything was very smelly and dirty specially the toilet is disgusting I think the towel have been worn as well The room is muggy overall not worth it at all to spend any penny there.

This is the worst hotel ever! NO AIR-CONDITIONING the room was so hot had to leave the hotel . We moved to a different hotel and now have a cool comfortable room. The windows open just a bit so no real air can get in the hot room. Two small fans provided were useless. Currently no refund given. I?m trying to get one. I wouldn?t board my cat there. Run far away from this dump!
